  1. It’s Michael Oliver, Friend is refereeing the Everton match.
  2. Which incompetent cretin is officiating today? Watch it be Kevin Friend
  3. Yeah a draw would be fine all things considered. Would bloody love the win though.
  4. Looks like he needs some new jeans, all that knee-slide goal celebration practice has taken its toll.
  5. Man Utd are 3/1 to score a penalty and 7/1 to win from behind. Tempting odds to temper the anger if we do lose from a last minute penalty.
  6. It’s not just your fault. I put £2 each way on him being top scorer after his hat-trick against Liverpool. VAR hasn’t helped matters but I do think I’m partly to blame.
  7. Full roast tonight with a fancy lamb guard of honour coated in cheesy herb bread crumbs. Missus cooking it now, fully briefed to have it done before 8pm.
  8. I got an Amazon Show for Christmas, it’s set up in the dining room downstairs. I’ve downloaded the app and you can make announcements to it from your phone upstairs. For the last few days we’ve been sending requests down to whoever’s up asking them to bring coffee up to us, it’s been brilliant! Send the message, listen out for it then hear the daughter mumbling FFS not again as she puts the kettle on. So far I’ve tried the commands ‘make us coffee’, ‘make us some toast’, and ‘feed the cats’. It’s like having your own personal carer
  9. If we lose tonight then it’s not unexpected, Man Utd are clear odds on favourites and in decent form. They have a massively superior squad in terms of money spent and they’re at home. However, we’re in great form and have shown we can beat anyone on our day. We’re dangerous going forward and can defend well. I’m not confident that we’ll win, but I am confident that we’ll give them a good game and we won’t be dominated. It could go either way, and I’m happy with that compared to previous years. Let’s hope for a spot of luck and that we take our chances. UTV
  10. It’s weird how we all see things differently isn’t it. I can’t stand OGS, for no rational reason other than his face irritates me. I think it’s his eyes, he always looks so smug with himself.
  11. @Seat68 you’ve done it before, you can do it again. Even if you just get out for a walk three or four times a week it’ll make a big difference. Good luck
  12. This year doesn’t seem much different to last year, not sure what all the fuss was about.
  13. People were setting fireworks on Christmas Day round here. That’s just a whole new level of word removedness!
  14. Fat and full of buffet type picky food, loads of cheese and cured meats, olives etc... feel sick now and don’t know why we bought that much really. Gonna play some quiz games with the kids now then go to bed. Jools Holland will not be making an appearance here tonight, I’d rather eat gravy and fish than have to endure that rubbish. Happy New Year you lot, here’s to three points for the Villa tomorrow!
  15. Just need Bruno and Rashford to be banned now and we’re laughing.
  16. Concentrated iron bru in the droppers there, nice!
  17. Yep, it would’ve meant celebrating imaginary goals while the home side takes us apart with slick passing and merciless efficiency. Now it means we’ll probably win 0-3 and that will be normal
  18. It’s like they just read the headlines and look up the most basic of stats. In fact they probably don’t even do that, I bet they email the intern to find them some stats. I love Mings but I’d be hard pushed to put him in my team of the year.
  19. Garth Crooks. I don’t really need to say any more, but I will. His team of the year is out, featuring Mings and Grealish. He had this to say on Grealish Jack Grealish: The contribution Grealish made to Aston Villa's Premier League survival last season was quite extraordinary. However, what has taken place since Villa's miraculous escape from relegation has been phenomenal. They put seven goals past Liverpool, three past Leicester with 10 men and even topped the table during the early part of the season. Grealish has been their mastermind in every single game. The issue now facing the Villa star is can he do the same for his country? While it’s nice that he’s included Jack, I can’t help but feel he doesn’t really watch the games.
  20. A quick scout through their red cafe forum and the general gist is this: Villa are a good side, with a good defence that will be hard to score against. They want to buy Jack tomorrow morning so he can play for them against us. This is Ole’s first real test. Fernandes looks shattered Then you’ve got comments like this one where the arrogance and lack of knowledge runs free... Alemar Full Member Confident in what, let me ask? It’s pretty obvious that we have better players, with the majority of these players putting in a lot of efforts. And they only have Grealish (who may actually be somewhat drunk on January 1st...) rocket polishers, let’s hope we treat them to a Villa away day special!
  21. The comments under that are full on delusion. Manure’s global fan base do chat some shit.
  22. If you mean Vera Lynn the singer, then she’s already gone.
  23. I’m pretty sure you could join it now, the code is floating about in the last few pages.
