I’d say take those with a grain of salt because prices are notoriously slow to bottom out. For example after the 2008 crash Ireland’s property prices kept falling bit by bit until 2013.

Leroy Sane sold for £45m possibly rising to £55m. Actually younger than Grealish, but more established with a few full PL seasons under his belt, and 20 caps for Germany. No chance we get near £80m for Jack.

Don’t like thinking about it but there’s four teams fighting to stay out of those last two relegation places. So it’s a 50-50 situation and we should be realistic in terms of planning. If we get relegated I assume we will sell Mings, Grealish, Trez, and McGinn. That will get us about £80m to play with. Squad wise: - GK: Heston, Nyland, Steer (excellent) - FB: Taylor, Targett, Guilbert, Elmo (probably fine in the Championship) - CB: Engels, Hause, Konsa (needs a replacement for Mings, someone experienced like Gary Cahill would be ideal. Tuanzebe?) - CM: Luiz, Nakamba, Hourihane, Lansbury (lightweight after losing McGinn and Grealish, would need someone like Kalvin Phillips or ideally a more creative version) - Wing: El Ghazi, Jota (absolutely huge hole here and would definitely need serious investment, Lolley or Benrhma or someone) - ST: Samatta, Wesley, Davis (would probably be fine in Championship) So assuming we get £80m from Mings, Grealish, McGinn and Trez... we’d probably be okay. Spend smartly on a winger (~£20m), a central midfielder (~£20m) and a solid centre back (~£10m) and we’d easily be top half. A loan or two (Tammy? Will you get your game next year? Come back to B6, please?) would see us pushing the top spots. So not ideal, but far better than when we had N’Zogbia and Micah on the books.

Not much happening up top for Samma today, but full marks for dropping back and hassling their midfield.

We’re better with him and Grealish than Trez and Grealish. Wouldn’t start him against better sides, but should have been on the pitch against Newcastle.

I’ve tried to defend Trez this season, but he was clearly muck today.

Would much rather Konsa in the middle with Elmo at right back.

While you’re not wrong about the fringe elements, the BLM cause is absolutely justified and I’d encourage you to overlook the anti-capitalist element. I’m a capitalist. Moderately right-wing. But I’ve joined BLM protests because black lives are under-valued, particularly in the part of the world I live in (the US). I don’t think anyone really disputes that black lives are under-valued compared to white ones, and that that’s an absolute injustice. If you agree with that sentence, I encourage ya to ignore the communist fringe.

No complaints if you want to blame Nyland versus Davis or Luc Nilis if you want that’s all fair my point is it’s silly to pretend it didn’t happen just because the ref missed it.

If Jack smashes in a worldy and the ref somehow misses it, are we supposed to pretend it didn’t happen? No we give fair credit to Jack and blame the ref. Nyland was calamitous for that cross. Blame Davis if you like, but let’s not pretend it didn’t happen just because the ref missed it.
