Loved it when he had the ball in our defensive third, saw Slimani in front of him and gave him a look like "oh.. this slow word removed".. proceeding to burst forward up the pitch straight past him

How much do you want for your lad? Does he play LB?
  3. A 10/10 window if you go by WhoScored's opinion of us
  4. Just realised we have a +10 GD. 12 points from 4 games. What a win
  5. Seemed to have no problem making his way into a central role when Watkins went out side, offers a different dimension to our attack and I think we've seen nothing at all yet.
  6. He is vital to the way we play right now because of his work ethic, but he also has ability and it is really starting to show. Put some respect on his name.
  7. He is now playing at a different level, yes we may be bias, but he has to be mentioned as one of the best footballers in the league without doubt. There is no player like him in England, including the players that aren't English. I do feel like he was trying to prove a point today though, keeping the ball in situations where he could have made something happen.
  8. I put "very good" without even knowing what I was pressing. I don't care. We don't need referees.
  9. Bournemouth would be a great loan move for him
  10. If Jack played for Man United he would have played today no doubt
  11. Couldn't care less about England but Southgate is an idiot and its fun to see everybody getting at him about Jack
  12. Think people are misunderstanding what is going on here. We're in a very unusual time period, one where right now football clubs in the UK are making £0 matchday revenue. Take into consideration how many weeks we've played behind closed doors and you'll soon understand just how much money EVERY club is losing. This is just business, the revenue goes to the clubs and I guess it is a way to try and subsidise the lack of match day revenue by doing it in a digital manner. No, it isn't for everybody, but this price would have been chosen based on research. Whether you like it or not though clubs have to try and make money, the most logical way being by charging people to watch matches (just like they would usually).
  13. With a player like Jack it is impossible to replace them, I think we are prepared in the sense of if he was to get injured or something we have players that can be utilised in a different system. Our play revolves heavily around Jack and what he wants to do, he orchestrates play. Without him, everything changes, but we do have wingers and such to play in a different way. 100% agree about the top 6 talk though - I think my worry is CB cover and not knowing if Wes will be back any time soon.
  14. Keep moving the ball Keep moving the ball Keep moving the ball Keep moving the ball Shut up
  15. Based on Dougie's comments about him coming to Villa to "do a job" so that he can be eligible to play in the Premier League makes me think he does want to go back, or expects to go back at least. But as people keep saying, it is Pep that highly rates him and if he leaves it may leave us an opportunity to keep him.
  16. We were both leaving, assume he lives in the same building but haven’t seen him there before
  17. Met him this morning going for breakfast, really nice bloke, said he loves it here and I told him we love him too.
  18. I think the best thing from this window is that we now have options to not only replace players but we can also change the way we play. Barkley adds a new dynamic to midfield, played as a 10 the other day but he can also play deeper. Cash can play further up if needed, or as a wing back if we decided to go with a back 3/5. Traore can play out side but he can also be used as a striker that plays off his man, potentially as a strike partner for Watkins or even Wesley. Really solid window and looks like we've made some good acquisitions
  19. He made a pass straight to a completely open Grealish late in the game that was absolutely sublime
  20. He really works his arse off for the team, definitely in a position where it is his shirt to lose
  21. "You must be pinching yourself!" "I dunno if I was offside for the other one but one on one with the keeper I should be scoring" And that, my friends, is the mentality that will take this guy to 20+ goals this season.
  22. He's basically came and applied a Leicester PL Winning Season moveset to our team. Watkins is getting those Vardy balls whenever possible.
  23. But can we appreciate him asking an incredibly angry VVD to swap shirts at the final whistle
