  1. So relaxed on the ball, that Brazilian flair with every touch, we're blessed to have him
  2. There are visible problems in the final third that were there last season too, apart from that we look the better team quite clearly
  3. I'm not blaming him, my point is you could stick Ibra up top and he'd look the same too because we aren't bringing him into the game. Quote my entire post not just the part that fits your narrative
  4. I would say we need more crosses into the box but with 10 men they're going to sit back - we need to utilise the flanks, cut inside, create space. Cash has a cracking cross on him but it's going to waste when they're set up like they are
  5. Watkins currently looks like Samatta, Davis, Wesley, take your pick. Until we actually bring our forwards into play, they're all going to look like stagnant robots - stop this long ball crap from Mings please
  6. Martinez commands the area so well, literally looks like his youtube clips
  7. Why are people saying it is harsh? A foul is a foul, about time something is given without the need of a dive etc. It was a foul on the last man, who was through on goal if he wasn't fouled. Red card, thats what the rulebook says. Fair play ref!
  8. We've signed a player that two years ago we'd have had absolutely no chance of getting. Not sure what players people expect us to sign, but he is clearly levels above the signings we've made over the last however many seasons. Get behind him
  9. That racist stuff up at Celtic pretty much ruined any chance of him getting his career on track. But, back on topic, Rashica clearly has done a lot more than somebody like Tonev and at a much higher level. I'd hope he wouldn't go the same way!
  10. If it isn't Grealish or Jota, I can't see us really utilising a "CAM" role - as you say, good control and passing range, not really anybody else I can imagine us using there unless I'm forgetting somebody.
  11. Put the winger stuff aside for a second - if Jack moves into a central role, is that a role we could see Jota being a back up for? Playing in behind the striker. I know he wouldn't put himself about like Jack does, but he could play in the hole rather than outside surely
  12. The Grealish deal will hopefully also show incoming players that we mean business, we want to build and keep our best players. We also have a shed load of money.
  13. And funnily enough, Adama is only a year younger than Bertrand I think. No idea why people are so against this signing, relatively young player with quite a high profile in the game. Came through a good youth setup, had solid loans in Europe, but has had a bad couple of years in relative context which is likely down to the amount of changes over at Lyon. Lets get behind this guy!
  14. Marc Albrighton has a PL medal Adama Traore is worth god knows how much now for Wolves Enda Stevens established himself as a Prem defender
  15. You literally said Jesse Lingard was good 3-4 years ago, not sure what point you were trying to make but you were basically referring to a time when he was the same age as Traore is now (and only now is he entering the "latter" end of his 20's as he has just turned 25). You seem to have a problem with this guy for no apparent reason, again with talk of "lack of passion" "bad attitude" "off the field issues" - things you're literally making up in your head.
  16. The man is coming into his prime, he only just turned 25, I can only assume things just aren't working for him at Lyon for whatever reason. Also Lingard is 28 this year anyway, so by your math we should be getting ourselves a cracker
  17. Probably not, being as John Terry was playing for us when Drinkwater joined Chelsea. Bertrand on the the other hand..
  18. Why do black footballers constantly get tarnished with this "bad attitude" stick? Not being funny but fans hardly ever know how a player's character is unless it is purposely put out there for us to know (e.g. Ross McCormack). I think something being overlooked here is the fact that our man JT spent plenty of time around the player and will know his character, skillset and talents very well. I'm also sure Traore will have a lot of respect for JT just like all other Chelsea players did. If anything we have far better knowledge with this player than we do usually.
  19. Haven't seen us have a striker who moves into positions like he does for a while, I guess we're more used to lumping it up or utilising target men who hold the ball up. Watkins' seems like an actual goal scoring striker
  20. I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong, they're definitely better than us, but the way they play the ball across the face of the goal is kinda pointless if our defenders are always going to be closer to the goal than their strikers. It's an easy clean up job each time, but I can't say whether this is down to our defenders being switched on or their strikers not being switched on.
  21. Every foul has these Yanited commentators getting upset, as if it isn't a friendly
  22. If you have an iPhone, download the app called "NavScore" from the AppStore. Got it live on there right now It seems we have a striker that actually moves to try and get into goal scoring positions, it's crazy!
