  1. That VT playlist looks top banana, whichever rogue set that up must be a bit of a VT legend
  2. The fact that Designer1 has completely rebuilt and remodelled himself like a real life photoshop over the last few years yet hasn't renamed himself Designer2, Designer1.1 or at the very least Designer1 v2 Final
  3. More Ron Manager I reckon #jumpers4goalposts
  4. How good a football manager would I have been if I spent the same amount of time doing professional coaching badges as I did playing Premier Manager 3, Champ Man and Football Manager over my life time?
  5. When people respond to the question 'How are you?' by telling you what day of the week it is. Most often answered like this... It's Monday isn't it, the weekend goes too quick. It's Wednesday isn't it, 'hump day' It's Friday isn't it, almost the weekend. Got any nice plans for the weekend? Er, no.
  6. I think it was the surprise of it all that made it great rather than the actual performance, it didn't leak, there were some hints about, especially if you follow their Instagram, but by the sounds of it from the likes of the nme etc the vast majority if people didn't have a clue it was happening I'm going to reading this year, can't wait, british summertime festival last year was brilliant, that's a good little "festival", the who were there Friday with Weller and jonny marr, last year I saw the libs, pogues, twang, view, rifles, the enemy I was at BST last year and thought it was utter shite, Twang played the tiniest stage known to man when the Enemy were afforded the main stage, Pogues were flat throughout, they started running out of beer and loads of scally kids were passing out, presumably from some bad pills. And, as much as I wanted to see the Libs, the performance was pretty sketchy, the crowd didn't help though. Thought they looked a lot better at Glasto yesterday.
  7. Last night ended up getting a bit ravey out of no where so Stripe today to ease the blues away yup
  8. Kanye killed hip hop, the man is a scrotum
  9. Benteke is worth £32m minimum just for the day he squared up to Glen Johnson
  10. Local rugby club got some event on tonight so with a bit of luck they'll have the Stripe on the go, else probably Stella uh oh watch out Mrs PongRiddims
  11. Post cocodamol dumping is a beautiful thing, like torpedoes big enough to sink a battleship. You might be able to get some muscle relaxants from the quack to help if you're struggling, they will also cheer you up [emoji1]
  12. Not the most dynamic crowd you'll have witnessed but still a very enjoyable evening mate
  13. Fleetwood Mac last night at the O2 Academy, not their biggest fan but **** me it was good
  14. Fleetwood Mac last night (mint), as I'm down London for a few hours today it'll be a trip to Borough for some lovely grub to start the day and with a bit of luck a bit of vinyl shopping somewhere before train home, can't argue with that
  15. Excellent appointment, and a winner, lots to be learnt from RW
  16. Or some early Bukem albums but don't think they're too easy to find these days
  17. Ludovico Einaudi album, the one with Le Onde on, that's a change of direction if you fancy it?
  18. If you're going hiphop I'd go for: Ugly duckling - journey to anywhere Wu tang clan - 36 chambers Raekwon - only built 4 Cuban linx Rock I'd probably go Qotsa - rated R Stone temple pilots - core Manic Street preachers - generation terrorists Though that is an everlasting list. Maybe something classic like Marvin gaye, zepplin. Or some dub classics like king tubby or Lee scratch Perry. Now I'm rambling. King Tubby and LSP, great shouts. In one of my drawers at work in have only a spare mug, some pepper and 3 LSP albums. Emergency kit innit.
  19. Either of the first two Roots Manuva albums man, hip hop, different, leads to all sorts of alternatives. Alternatively, maybe a reggae album? Peter Tosh, John Holt, anything Trojan? BTW, what's a vinyl club? Sounds good, tell me more
  20. I hope you've moved several steps along in your exit strategy. It sounds like a relationship which has run its course. Yep, it's certainly feeling that way. To make a point to the management I've decided that I'm going to apply for promotion through "the board" to see how I'm supported. If I'm right then I'll at least make the sift and then it's up to me to not make a complete fool of myself in the interview. Time will tell. The cream always rises to the top mate, keep doing the right thing and you'll get what you deserve in the end
