  1. They pressure the officials, clever imo. Real struggle today and Watkins and having quality on the bench made the difference. We looked so disjointed, kept giving way possession time after time and losing 50/50's as well. We won but was lucky Everton didn't have a decent striker/ number 10 on the pitch, Cash and Digne's had a torrid time, isolated and overun time after time. Doug is great on the ball but poor off it. Bailey wasn't working, not sure why but it just didn't happen for him. Overall I'm happy with the result but watching it was painful. UTV
  2. The way to deal with these rises is go sim only on a 30 day contract then cancel if they raise the price and PAC your number over to another provider. If you need another phone then buy a new handset outright using an interest free credit card and spread the repayment for it over the interest free payment term. Then get a 30 day sim. I'm currently on IDmobile 30 day unlimited calls and texts and 200gb per month , £12. Talk with your feet, the virgin media technique.
  3. Anything to get us away from these Tory clowns, don't give the media a sniff of controversy.
  4. I would bet he's not going to make his breakthrough at Chelsea now. Unless he can seriously impress in the limited chances he's going to get, which he hasn't yet and might not get another. What a waste.
  5. Virgin just hit me with the inflation plus 3.9% increase, told them to cancel as I have a 5G router I'm going to use. They cancelled the increase completely.
  6. Maybe he's refused to go out on loan after first team game time was promised when he signed?
  7. He needs a loan deal to the championship to get some game time. Problem is Chelsea seemed to be in a complete mess so not sure it will happen next season , that's 2 seasons wasted where he could have been playing premier League games with us.

    Liverpool

Be no seats left at Anfield if this form continues.
  9. We need to pile pressure on the officials to not treat us as an easy team to make poor decisions against. That's on the field and off it. Arsenal bleated about the offside decision against them last week and look what happens? We need to follow their lead and complain on TV, even if Emery got sent off complaining it would up the anti and everyone would look at the decision made. VAR should have disallowed that goal, just like the night Gerrard got sacked. Doug was sent off for head butting Mitrovic, there was no contact , where was VAR, where was our protest on the pitch, where was our protest off it , it was a mystifying decision.
  10. When you look at McGinns goal that was disallowed for the same offence their keeper was nowhere near being unsighted, Martinez had two of there players blocking his view, one ducked. If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck then it's a duck. We are being cheated out of results by officials who are being influenced to side with the biggest gobs.
  11. It's because they are in politics for themselves, not the country they pretend to care about. Our politicians are not fit for purpose. We would be better off employing the most gifted managers,.pay them huge salaries, and let them manage to benefit the country not their egos or their mates and there own bank balances.
  12. Fair comment, why don't our politicians bulld more council houses on brownfield land? Why let rich property developers benefit from the profits they can make from private developments?
  13. Very strange but quite predictable to blame whole generations for the problems we have now. Surely it's the lies we have all been sold by our politicians and the media led by the richest in society that have caused the issues we have now? From where i stand all I see from a work point of view is the gradual decline of working practices, pensions shift pay, holidays that the generations of yesterday fought hard to gain and are now disappearing due to poor or no unions and the anti workers press, media and politicians.
  14. This is where we can improve, Arsenal have a huge online presence that we should try and emulate. We are at a disadvantage in that the West Midlands has next to no traditional media based here so we have no fans in the media, the London clubs and the Manchester clubs do. We need someone at the club, other than Emery ,who can push our agenda when it comes to poor refereeing decisions that are costing us games. We are like lambs to the slaughter ATM.

    Energy Bills

Do they ? Surely it depends on what side of the counter your on.
  16. Martinez waits for the forward to close him down then passes the ball. Anyway his sweeping skills are more or less irrelevant when hes paid to dominate the area and stop teams scoring, he's arguably the best keeper we have ever had ( certainly in the last 20 years) and the best player we currently have, he's the least of our worries. Listening to Arsenal fans give their opinion.....I have read enough of them to last lifetime and most of it is pure shite.
  17. I'm not sure how Martinez playing out from the back has anything to do with any of the goals we conceded against Arsenal or Man city? He does it slowly to try and draw the opposition out, which the entire point of it all, isn't it?
  18. Reading the press reports and there's not one that mentions the offside goal or Saka's over the top tackle. Plenty about protecting him from tackles though. We really have to start bringing attention to these decisions, its game after game. Refs no they can **** us over and have no come back, if they made the same decisions against Arsenal then there would be an uproar.
  19. Why, you have seen the rules and the picture, what do you think is the grey area? Would Arsenal have won without that decision?
  20. Doug for me is ok on the ball but not so good off it. He sometimes tries to be too clever and plays short passes in areas that are crowded with players, tends to chase the ball around as well, numerous times where we have two players going for the same ball.
  21. Looks at McGinns disallowed goal, the keepers view wasn't even close to been blocked, Martinez could not see the ball when it was struck, the Arsenal player ducked to give him a clear shot. Our apathy towards bad decisions is killing us , Arsenal would have and would be going ballastic if it was against them. The press are supporting them winging about the rough treatment Saka got with no mention of his over the top lunge that should have resulted in a red card, or at least a yellow. Neither was given. The lino saw it and was opened mouthed in shock but flagged for a throw in, it's outrageous that decisions are being made that are this bad and we're at home.
  22. They haven't changed, they are just ignored depending on what team benefits from them.
