  1. "He’s a ball-player, a footballer. He’s got a tremendous range in his passing and, for someone so young at 22, he comes with real big experience at Marseille. It was tough for him to leave because he’s got a lot of respect for Marseille. He’s recently become a French international which tells you of the calibre of player we’re dealing with here. He’ll need time to settle in and, again, he’ll strengthen our central midfield positions whether that’s a No.6 or an eight. He can help us in both positions. It’s still an area we’re looking to strengthen again and we want to challenge the lads that have done well for us in the last six months since we’ve been here."
  2. I used to pay £1.99 a month last season. Does that automatically end now and I would have to re-sign up or can they just start charging a new monthly amount?
  3. Where are they from? The Mrs will go mad for these. They can be her snack food just before giving birth.
  4. Octavio looks like if Coutinho f*cked Dan James and science carried the result to be born. No idea about him as a player, just like. I haven't been keeping up with this thread.
  5. Gutted if he goes. He'll piss it in the Turkish league.
  6. He's comfortably held his own when he did get minutes. I don't get how people don't think he's a good player. The mistake against Utd aside, he's barely put a foot wrong.
  7. Maybe there are secret courses that the humble brags can't play on.
  8. Tim Vickery isn't going to be right about everything. If I recall right, he was creaming over Funes Mori and he didn't end up being the next level for Everton. Obviously, he's highly knowledgeable about South American football, so we pay more attention, but it doesn't mean he's right about everything. We had a Sevilla fan in here who loves Carlos and says he allowed Kounde to shine.
  9. Zinchenko would be quality. He played midfield against Wales and he looked like a player capable of taking control of the match. Great cover for left-back at the same time.
  10. He needs to get on the deep fried pizzas and turkey twizzlers. We don't have all decade!
  11. I think Neco Williams would be a shrewd investment. He is comfortable at both RB and LB and Liverpool have cover in both positions now.
  12. That would push for top 6 to me, with plenty on the bench to add to games.
  13. If he keeps progressing at this rate then he won't be limited to 15-20 mins off the bench. He will be pushing for starts.
  14. We're not/any club is not getting Nunez for £40m.
  15. He's proven himself in the Championship. With 5 subs allowed next season, he should be staying with us. The lad has a knack for finding space and hitting first time finishes. His tail is up, our current strikers haven't been firing on all cylinders. It's the perfect time for him to start getting more game time.
  16. I'm both impressed and alarmed that Gerrard knows where everybody lives in the world.
  17. Mee would be out of here quicker than David Usworth if we were ever dumb enough to bring him in. Thankfully, I don't think we are.
  18. I hear you're a racist now, Suarez!
  19. Why people believe in karma. My neighbours are daily c*nts. Have been for the last 2 years since they've moved in. Me and the Mrs try and be polite yet they act like they live in a detached property in the wilderness. If karma was real, these assholes would be long gone by now, or at-least their continued behaviour. It must be nice to not give a **** about other people but at the same time. I love that I do give a shit. Karma. Goodbye my yearn.
  20. Top Gun is such a nostalgic film for me. I'm scared of seeing the new but also happy to go with the cheese if it sits well. I don't want a serious film. I want an action flick with entertaining scenes that feels like it fits in the same world. If I wanted serious, I'd be wanting a film about how Van Damme went from a shower to the Kumite. Like what planes and trains he went on. Instead I got one of the best fighting films ever.
  21. Tarkowski also played on the left side of the CB's when played with Ben Mee, so he's comfortable playing there should Mings be out of action at all.
  22. The difference being, not having to pay a fee and signing on bonus. They can't compare. Suspect these long deals will help with FFP and any struggling to keep up with the Prem can be transfered to the Las Vegas link-up. Also, Tarkowski at CB isn't up and 6 down the line like Trippier has to. As for Wood, I'm convinced Newcastle did that just to weaken a rival rather than any plan for the player over the next few years. Cb's age well and Tarkowski is around his prime years and with no fee. If he signed for 5 years, that'll be a people running the club side of things deciding that. Not Gerrard. I'm pretty sure I recall reading that he said he has no bearing on fees or contracts. Have at the criticism again though.
