He does really well to shirk off the defenders but then demonstrates his lack of coaching/killer instinct when he stops and watches Soldado. Surely you want him to carry on following up with the play incase the keeper parries the shot away?

The aim should be to compete in every competition until the end. If we didn't exit the cups so early, we may not have got Europe this season. I'd rather us build a squad that can compete an all fronts rather than maybe consider being knocked out of one cup to benefit us elsewhere.

Absolutely 100% yes to this btw. Mings and Konsa have been/are great but we have to think bigger than just the starting 11. Rotation for Europe/cups, playing differently against certain opposition. Yes, we're more lacking in top quality going forward but improvement should be continuous wherever possible.

He really is a genius. He's so humble about it too and he wants his players to be the best they can be whilst also showing that same humility and humbleness. Players with the right attitude will become better players because of him. He's got the financial backing and support from the top to bring in top players with the right attitudes. If he can then in turn, progress them like he's done with McGinn, Ollie, Dougie, Konsa etc then we really are on to something special. He wasn't afforded that at Arsenal and they both paid the price for it. Not only is he a world class manager, he seems like a really good person too. Create a legacy, Unai. You can be our Ferguson and be remembered as a legend and hero.

I was half joking with most of those targets but I wasn't joking about this being a squad game and you want your replacement to be at the levels of McGinn, Ramsey, Watkins or better. As great as the current guys are doing, constant improvement is what is going to get us right to the top.
