  1. A guy on the train has answered two phone calls by saying 'yo! What you saying?'. He's also dressed like rocky running up and down the steps in philadelphia.
  2. So do we get an extra bank holiday next year for the royal wedding? Its the only bit of interest i have in the whole thing.
  3. £52 winnings courtesy of uncle albert today. Crazy odds considering his form at the moment. He's so confident. Its been so long since we had a player so switched on to where the ball will end up and always looking to score. He's a nightmare to defend against. Crazy to think that he didn't start the season as first name of the team sheet.
  4. He looks like a wind up toy that's about to run out of energy whenever he moves. Can't help liking him a bit though.
  5. Steve Bruce summed up in one game. That's the reason we won't get up with him as manager. I'm fuming!
  6. Has anyone bought a sky sports day pass? Tempted to make sure i have now issues watching tomorrow game but we only have freeview so not sure how itll work. Edit - Just realised we have a now tv app on the tv!
  7. So where does Hogan go from here? I think many felt the game was screaming out for him yesterday, he'd have provided an outlet and taken the attentions of their centre backs who were having a really poor game. Bruce just doesn't seem to want to play him in a team which will make use of his strengths. It still blows my mind he hasn't had a run with Davis, who I think is tailor made for Hogans game. It will be a real shame, but I think he'll try to engineer a move away in January and will go on to be great for another team with us making a big loss on him.
  8. Looking forward I still don't see Bruce getting us up automatic. I can see us achieving play offs but that's more a view of how open this league is than any faith in Bruce across a full season. But should he get us up I fully expect xia to sit him down, thank him for his tenure and show him the door. He absolutely won't be the man for us in the Premier league, and I'd be surprised if many felt otherwise.
  9. Best game I've seen this season by far, too open to be a relaxed win but great to see us win under pressure. The subs for me were poor, invited pressure on and we lost our outlet. Hogan would've been a far better choice than Davis with how the game was being played. But all in all a massive win and huge confidence boost going into the game against the inbreds!!
  10. Different company but has anyone had any luck getting a reduced deal with Virgin? I hate them with a passion but theyre the only company by us who can give decent speeds. We currently get around 70/80 mbps and the next best offers only guarantee up to 12.
  11. Kodija has done nothing, looks to offer no support whatsoever. I'd have kept Davis on.
  12. Tshirts that people share on facebook saying 'Never underestimate a woman who watches fast and furious and was born in January' ...and likes hot food and tiaras and dogs and gin. Bore off.
  13. So this nutter had over 40 guns, explosive and 'electrical devices' that they're looking into. It almost seems impossible to comprehend that this could've been any worse than what it was but it could have. It's been said many times already but ic ant understand for the life of me how someone can accumulate that many guns and not have questions asked, concerns raised. It goes so far beyond the realms of personal protection or being able to overthrow a government or whatever the ancient stance they like to draw upon says. But it seems like this is just considered normal to too large a chunk of Americans for this to change in our generation.
  14. Hope noone on here is affected. Someone i know flew out for their wedding yesterday, with 26 of their mates/family due to fly out over the next few days before the wedding on Sunday. Worst nightmare. Quite surprised i havent seen a news article yet mentioning the amount of people who will lose their jobs over this. Losing a holiday seems a small inconvenience compared to presumably thousands losing their jobs in the run up to christmas.
  15. Just back from the trip, probably the best weve dont to be honest. Glad we did Vienna first as it wouldve been a let down if we went after Budapest but still worth a visit. We filled two and a half days there quite nicely. I'd recommend a day for the city centre (walking tour was pointless but the natural history museum was a good few hours). Then a day for Schonbrunn palace/zoo and that area of town will leave you feeling like youve seen enough but not bored. Food was great everywhere we went and didnt find it too expensive in all honesty. We stayed in an airbnb about a 20/30 stroll out of the city centre, definately mostly locals but i tend to prefer that anyway. But the owner recommended some restaurants and all were 10/10. Very clean and stunning buildings, a nice rooftop bar for a drink with one eye on the score on Tuesday night topped it off. Budapest was amazing from start to finish. Its close run but i think id put it above Prague. We had an airbnb in the jewish quarter, right by the ruin bars. We managed to fit in the walking tour, communism tour and a jewish walking tour which were all worth doing. If i had to choose one it would be the communism tour, very interesting. We went to the hospital in the rock but wouldnt recommend it, the guide ruined it for us. Spent a few hours one day up by heroes square watching an extremely enthusiastic chinese guy filming a girls choir by the monument. An absolute must is the evening cruise on the danube, if you think the river bank is beautiful by day then it'll take your breath away at night. Just stunning! Already trying to figure out when we can fit in Prague, Budapest and maybe one other location. Only spotted the pinball museum on the last day which seems a decent way to spend an evening. And theres definately so much more to see. Massive thanks to @TrinityRoadSteps for the recommendation to visit BPBarBQ. Best burger ive ever tasted, and fortunately about 2 minutes from where we stayed so managed to visit twice.
  16. I was saying earlier that every youth player we've brought through the last couple of years has a bit of bite to their game. Watching Davis today he had a few clattering challenges and not only shrugged them off but put himself about too. I'm really impressed with the attitude of all of them. A credit to the academy!
  17. So i had an assessment for that role yesterday and it was a bit of a mixed bag. I'm confident i aced the presentation and Q&A and the first half of the interview went well. The last 4 questions were definitely decided to be curve balls. But, i thought one was borderline if not what would be classed as discriminatory. I was essentially asked as i am young for this role, and the youngest candidate, how i deal with managing older people. I answered it best i could but its been playing on my mind ever since. I'm certain the other candidates wouldn't have been asked that question because from my knowledge they are all middle-aged. Is it worth me raising? Or wait for the outcome of the interview?
  18. So f*** off harry redknapp, your face looks like a ball sack, you're a conman, you're a conman! They really are the club that keeps on giving!
  19. Nah, it was only 40 minutes according to Bruce.
  20. He reckons we played against 10 men for 40 minutes. He's deluded. Oh, and it's always difficult playing against 10 men Oh, and we could've scored 4. Oh,and the positives were there for everyone to see don't you know Oh, and there's mass hysteria. Oh, and it's only a matter of time before it turns for us. Oh, and we will turn the draws into wins. Get out of my club you absolute joke. I find you offensive!
  21. Judge him when he has a manager who knows how to play to his strengths!
  22. Can't be bothered to go into depth like I did on Saturday. Just go Bruce. You're a disgrace.
  23. I've defended xia against ridiculous comments on him being a poor owner. I won't bother typing again why he is far down the list of people to blame. But any more points lost are on him. He needs to make the decision tonight!
