  1. Lambert making notes, no doubt something along the lines of 'Remember to buy milk'.
  2. Beating the blues 5-1, the atmosphere of the whole match, locked in the Holte car park afterwards with everyone going absolutely mental....and putting the whole match on a dvd for my next door neighbour who's a blues fan. He didn't speak to me for about a month and it was delightful! Oh, and the quarter finals, being in the upper holte during the pitch invasion. Fans singing back and forth. Those were the days!
  3. Whats shocking to me about the rules as they are, is that no spurs player can be retrospectively banned based on replays. Just because the ref saw what happened, but decided that he quite liked the look of their kit, they get away with everything they did and we are lumped with our biggest threat out for three games because he cant keep his hands to himself. The change in rules needs to be a ban based on the severity of the violent conduct and allowing retrospective action, not allowing benteke to get away with shoving someone.
  4. I was only wondering earlier if any manager in the prem has ever gone 6 games losing and only one goal scored and kept their job
  5. All is not lost. NZogbia was looking decent and Weimann is always committed. I'd rather not see Gabby on the pitch again though. Totally agree. For me it has to be wiemann up front with nzogbia and possibly finally giving cole a chance. Gabby offers absolutely nothing, and today proved we are much more threatening with a bit of movement and intelligence up front.
  6. What's frustrating with him is that he shows absolutely no effort, passion or awareness during the game, and then at the final whistle he boots the ball into the air in frustration. If only he showed an ounce of that emotion during the game we might all dislike him a little bit less.
  7. What's worse about Benteke getting sent off is we now have gabby up front for the next 3 games! We may aswell just give up now.
  8. Watching the Sunday supplement this morning and one of the guys on there said that from what he knew there are a number of big names in our dressing room who support lambert and keane for their work ethic and think that they are doing the right things, and that the trouble is stemming from those players not believing that a selection of players in the squad aren't putting in the effort that they should be. I'm not saying that this justifies our current form, or that this is supporting lambert, because I don't think he's the right man for the job. But, if our current problems stem from these issues then I think we have to take into consideration that regardless of what lambert or keane do to try and change things, if we have a divide emerging within the squad then that is going to lead to negative results. The only way lambert can deal with that IMO is by dropping those players (Gabby for one), and the only question that leaves is why he hasn't done it yet. It's obvious our problems run far deeper than just lambert and Lerner, and the way out club has been run over the last 5 years. It just isn't obvious why it seems that no one is acting to sort out the players who seem to be causing problems.
  9. I don't think it's van gaal that doesn't think he's good enough. I think it's the united fans who would see him as too much of a lesser name to be worthy of playing for their club. Whether they are right or not is another question. But I do think van gaal rates him highly. Lucky for us I think he's aware he needs to get bigger fish in to satisfy united fans.
  10. £1 on blues to lose 5-1 based purely on the fact last time they lost 8-0 they played wolves next and that was the scoreline. Safe money surely?
  11. Well an MP was sacked for doing the jungle while she should've been working. And Roy's job is much more important than hers was.
  12. Spurs - L West Ham - L Southampton - L Burnley - W C Palace - D 4 points. We will embaress ourselves at least once. Cant see any chance of us beating west ham or southampton how they're playing atm. Possible draw against spurs, but im sure I'll be proved stupid come Sunday.
  13. Villa fan disheartened by the state of our club, on and off the pitch.
