  1. This thing about 'best male' is bugging me. Look, there's only room for one 'best male' in this country, and it's clearly David Attenborough. When he's gone, the 'best male' will be Jason Statham. Come and talk to me about 'James Bay' when the Stath is dead, I'm not interested until then.
  2. I've literally never heard of 'James Bay' before.
  3. Trump is, currently, extremely unpopular with general election voters. Right now, you'd have to predict he would lose to Hillary very very comfortably. However, nobody expected him to get this far, so the possibility can't be ruled out. EDIT: This isn't strong enough. I wouldn't even be surprised if the situation changed. I don't think there's much evidence to say 'Trump will most likely beat Hillary' yet though.
  4. Useful parapgraph from 538 putting Trump's 'win' with Hispanics into context: 'Did Trump win Hispanics in Nevada? You can be sure that Trump will tell us he did! There was a lot of nerd-fighting over who won theHispanic vote in the Democratic caucuses in Nevada, and we suspect there will be some over the Republican caucuses as well. Indeed, the entrance poll had Trump beating Rubio 45 percent to 28 percent among Hispanics. But keep in mind that the sample size on that result is somewhere between 100 and 200 people. That means the margin of sampling error for the Hispanic subgroup is near +/- 10 percentage points (or even higher). Perhaps more importantly, just 8 percent of Republican voters were Hispanic (or 1 percent of the Nevadan Hispanic population), and they are not politically representative of the larger Hispanic community.' http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/nevada-caucus-results-donald-trump-2016-republican-primary/
  5. Yes, I think Cameron's timing is hopeless, he's really made it less likely to be a 'remain' vote. Refugee crisis will be in full swing, despite 0.0000001% of them making it to the UK that will be a massive impact. Also a problem - half the people who want to remain because they've got a second property in Spain, will be occupying their property in Spain.
  6. What Tony said. It's also worth pointing out at this point that 'not all Hispanics are Mexicans'.
  7. I specifically liked it because I thought it was an excellent joke about buffalos (not) having wings. Now I'm in a quandary about whether to invest the time in 'unliking' the original post.
  8. It wouldn't surprise me. I remember one meal out at a bog-standard restaurant in Canada I had a couple of years ago. It cost about £7, so I assumed it wouldn't be too massive. **** thing came out on a plate the size of a bus's tyre.
  9. I worked doing door-to-door sales once. I lasted one and a half days, then had a nervous breakdown. Never went back.
  10. What I love about your movie reviews, pooligan, is that it always seems that it can be any movie, of any genre, from any era, and it'll be 7/10!
  11. Do you think so? The site was the busiest I've seen it in months after the Liverpool game, but maybe that's more to do with the scale of the loss.
  12. . . . which has to be, hands down, the most misleading use of a statistic I've ever seen.
  13. A 'like' isn't sufficient for this . . . I think I might put it on the family crest.
  14. You'd have to be made of stone not to find the prospect of Gervinho and Lavezzi being managed by Li Tie hilarious
  15. I'll second? third? the vote for Caballero. How the **** did that guy get a gig at Man City? They'd have been better off with Richard Wright in goal the other day.
  16. What about that Harj guy? Is it harj04 or something?
  17. I'm as sure as can be. Relevant info provided here (amongst other sources): http://www.sport.net/randy-lerner-to-make-appearance-at-aston-villas-fa-cup-semi-final-with-liverpool_343705
  18. (Just realised that 'a large supporters forum' makes it sound like we're all fatso's!)
  19. Wouldn't real fans stay and back their team no matter what? This protest was created by real fans of Aston Villa, members of a large supporters forum. Between us we have attended thousands of Villa games. We believe every fan can support the team in the way they see best, and we don't condemn anybody for staying and cheering for the team. However, those of us backing the protest believe that we won't attract the attention of the owner, the board of directors, or the media, to the strength of frustration felt by the fans if we remain in our seats as per usual. (These answers don't have to be gospel, by the way, if anybody wants to suggest changes be my guest!)

  21. @sexbelowsound I really think this needs to be on the timeline, if at all possible (I know it's a pain to alter).
