  1. I have a feeling a lot of us are strangly confident... but so am I! I just think all of our lads will raise up to the occassion and woop some scouse ass! Lowton and Tekkers to score!
  2. I saw him before qpr at VP. I asked when he is going to be back playing, and he said he is back now. He didnt seem pleased either. Sherwood picking favourites like with Sanchez again? Gil mk2? Sherwood out
  3. Here is my post from after the QPR game. I argued that the team selection was fine, and without too much bragging, my post was suprisingly well received. At Tottenham, Tim picked exactly the same team. Here is some of the quotes from the pre match thread (im not quoting here, partly because I dont want to point fingers and partly because I dont know how to) 'Richardson? Bring Okore in and put Clark left back. Anything other than Richardson. He is a disgrace to the shirt.' 'We have Lowton on the bench?! Is Sherwood clueless?' 'I'm getting just as frustrated with Sherwoods line ups than I was at lamberts. Clark baker or Lowton would be better at left back than Richardson. He was utterly woeful on Tuesday. Meanwhile Gil gets completely frozen out unjustifiably. Tim. Your pissing me off. ' (thats my personal favourite) Oops! Sherwood Spurs are gonna tear us a new hole today because of you and your stupidity. Vlaar is bloody useless but playing Richardson after Tuesday is just playing dumb. Okore in for Vlaar and even the tea lady for Richardson would improve our chances of getting a result. Now, what I'm trying to say is that we have a new manager, new playing system, new things to look up to. The guy might be inexperianced but he is a manager of one of the greatest English teams. Let's cut him some slack, because he knows what he's doing when managing HIS team. At least more then myself or you do.
  4. Here is my take on Sherwoods performance last night... (please dont hate me) 1. Team Selection Spot on. Grealish showed he can do some damage and almost scored in the first half. He actually stayed on the ball for majority of the time, and was a tricky little player to go against. Lowton at left back? In hindsight, maybe. But he actually played a player in his position... I couldnt fault him at 19.45 yesterday, so I will not do it now. Okore dropped? Vlaar is a much better CB on his day, but yesterday he did not shine. I would have picked the same. 2. Tactics I felt like I watched the man u vs us game again. Only that we were man u. We played with some great attacking mind and scored 3 goals. Second half, he didnt change this mind set. QPR changed theirs. Which leads me to point number three... 3. Subs. For all our moaning, around the 80th minute mark we started playing again, partly due to his subs. Cole did well (did anybody see that flick on to lowton at the edge of the box?!) and provided us some wisdom going forward. Lowton was brought on to cross those balls in the box. Do we have a better crosser in the team?! Maybe he wasnt the best yesterday, but I cant fault Tims idea. N'zog changed a very tired cleverley who just came back from an injury. Another attacking option As for Gil, does anyone remember Sanchez in hirst first 2 games? We thought we signed makalele. Then, around the Arsenal game he fell apart. He only started playing well again half way through the season, yet Lambert kept picking him. Who knows, maybe Gil thinks he will just walk into the team without performing in training? Maybe he aint all that good? I dont know I can't really say, but if he picks Grealish over him, and grealish does as well as he did yesterday Im OK with it. As for the score, bummer. I can only blame individual defending errors. Not the team selection, or the subs.

    I've got mine!
  6. Yes. How many women are formula one drivers? Is there a rule why they cant be? Give it another 20 years and there will be plenty more black managers.
  7. If I was an owner of a football club I wouldnt employ Barnes even if he was green. Why do people assume business men who run multi million pound football clubs look at the colour of skin when making the decision who will be best to increase their profit? Surely if you were racist and owned a shop and had two cvs handed in, one by a rubbish, lazy white person with no experiance and a highly qualified and eager to work black person you would chose the latter. Otherwise you wouldnt stay in business for too long.
  8. if O'neill play 3 at the back against in form Milik, the Eredivisie wonder kid and Lewandowski it could turn ugly
  9. Agree with this! 'justice' is a really bad work to use here, it almost seems to put the blame on somebody and is looking for somebody to get punished...
  10. same here... I dont really understand it. Of course, as sad story as it is, why does it require 'justice'? I once ready about a famous footballer (i really dont remember who it was) but he was in his mid 30's. He said that after years of playing football, he has real bad leg pains, and is seriously considering getting them amputated and having prosthesis. Would that require 'introducing new laws' ? I cant imagine any footballer suffering from these kinds of injuries now, the balls are light as a feather.
  11. I had that stream on and that bloke said some absolutely ridiculous things. Worst commentator i've ever heard. Described Neymars finishing as a fish in a tree or something, was just strange. Also the way he was screaming down his microphone every time a foul took place or when Messi got the ball was just embarrassing. You could feel that the American guy was not to impressed by his coleague
  12. I wish football was a little more like it was in the 90's... i blame lambert fixed
  13. I wish football was a little more like it was in the 90's...
  14. that why to me Spanish league will never be the best in the world for me. I can't watch those crying babies, this is not football.
  15. it turns out there are more great quotes from Zlatan! http://footballspeak.com/post/2013/03/28/ZLATANISM-Top-25.aspx “Arsene Wenger asked me to have a trial with Arsenal when I was 17. I turned it down. Zlatan doesn’t do auditions.”
  16. In Europe a lot of the countries people celebrate the 8th March as 'Womens Day'. When asked what he go his woman for her special occasion Zlatan replied: 'Of course I Didn't get her anything. She already has Zlatan'
  17. well, their CL night are crappy. Will the same happen to Villa? I highly doubt it.
  18. 90% of spanish or italian footballers because they are moaning ladyboys who are looking to cheat anytime they are near the ball, and they are the ones to be blamed for turning this manly game into a primadonna showcase.
