Man City are not dull or poor in this game - Pep must have watched the first Bayern game and knows that you can't go all out when you have Mbappe and Neymar countering you. In my opinion, this is a good tactic by Pep.

Obviously Boris is in the shit now, and BBC have shown spending on no10 flat in the previous years. My question is, what the hell do those people do there?! An average of £30k a year to refurbish/renovate a flat? How much coke, pretty ladies and expensive exotic animals can one place hold?!

Especially as I am mostly emotionally detached from the CL - no Villa tainted glasses, just the best athletes this sport has to offer. It's a different experience.

Kudos to you, I hope you can follow through with this when we play Barcelona in 2025 CL final But on a serious note, football is my hobby. I enjoy it. Var, silly handball rule changes, stupid CL rules, bad referees, it doesn't change the fact that after a day of work I like to sit down and watch 22 athletes at their top performance. For a minute (or for 90), it makes you forget about all the above shit.

How about we don't decide how much a private business decides to pay it's employees, but instead hold the business accountable when they are £100miliions in debt? Want to pay Pogba £250k a week? Fine, but if you are running out of money you go bust - just like shops, IT businesses, Restaurants and any other enterprise. I'm a sole trader business - I can't spend over my means otherwise they take my house away.

Agent fees in millions of £ is not the problem. Heck, paying Bale £400k a week is not a problem. These are independent choices of a business and frankly if I opened a pub and some idiot pays me £20 for a Carling, well, he is an idiot. What is a problem is when you pay these sums when you can't afford it - much like the big 6 (along with many others) have been doing for years.

He is a good (young) player, but as I said in the match thread, yesterday showed exactly why we shouldn't worry about Man City using that buy back clause.

He does, but in countries like Poland where I grew up in the 90s, you had Liverpool and man u posters on the wall, and when playing FIFA you wanted the best players and wanted to score like Roberto Carlos. Everyone had fake Zidane and Batistuta shirts. I understand what he is saying. It was all about the big teams and I can only assume some people around the world (especially in lesser football countries) still think that way. But f*** him - the above does not give him a right to destroy football for the English, German, Spanish or Italians.
