  1. I think Ramsey plays the "run around, leave the lungs on that pitch and put pressure on them" role.
  2. It's been several times now that I have heard a criticism of the SuperLeague on the basis of not including or fully mentioning their intent for the Women version of the tournament. I don't remember who it was, but one time it was by an ex player. Now, I am all for equality - but why the hell would you want to drag the good name of the women's game in this shit show. If I was a female football activist, I wouldn't be talking about a lack of inclusion - I'd be laughing at these idiot men who can't do anything properly and have put their clubs name in shame. Why the hell would you want to have the Women's league anywhere near this coup?
  3. I don't believe this, surely not.
  4. Well, except for Spurs and Arsenal - they won't get European football anyway, so give them a transfer ban along with others.
  5. Let Roma v Villareal be the Europa final, and PSG to be confirmed CL winners. After that, ban the 6 from European competitions next year. I don't think points deductions will happen, but that should be enough.
  6. So with spurs out, is Perez the Bananaman now?
  7. Well, the club needs to be punished. But that will trickle down on players. No European football next season? Less money and prestige for players. Points deducted? Less chance of winning anything. If anything, players should be made aware that if they join a rotten business they might face consequences, so I'd think twice before accepting 100k from Man U rather than 70k from Everton.
  8. An official what partner?
  9. I wonder how that will work for their bottom lines.
  10. I'm sure Perez will be happy, after all it will create more excitement
  11. If I read this joke one more time I'm #forsuperleague
  12. To be fair, it almost always gonna be an English team.
  13. Maybe Perez can sell the rights to Netflix to make up for the lost revenue.
  14. It doesn't affect them, because you can promote clubs from league one, from league one to league 2 etc
  15. Villa and the other 13 clubs should agree to dissolve the PL, agree a deal with the FA to organise a new 20 team league involving the 14 and 6 top championship clubs and not invite the 6 "big ones". But that would take balls, and I don't think anyone has them.
  16. PSG is interesting, but German clubs are to a large extend fan led - so they don't have these sort of problems.
  17. I'm afraid in the coming months the government will do their absolute best to try this.
  18. Give me Man City to win it all day long now. Chelsea are meh and God know how they got that far. PSG are probably the least likeble team in the world (Liverpool possibly matching them). Real Madrid... I'd like for Zizu to win again but I don't particularly like the club itself. Man City are the lesser evil, and it would be good to see Foden win it so young.
  19. the added time is a ''minimum'' of x minutes So no changes need to be made - if Navas is taking the piss for 2 minutes, just add 2 minutes on top of what the technical referee added. We don't need any rule changes, just referees doing their job properly.
  20. It's amazing how much you can already see Bayern missing Lewandowski.
  21. The problem I see is that "insignificant" is a very subjective number. Now that politicians see they can move the goal posts of freedom as they see fit, we have set a very dangerous precedent of how a government can take individual rights without anyone seeming to care much.
  22. But on a serious note, he was my favourite midfielder when I was a kid. I look at his games now, and he was a genius, pure and simple. As a manager, sure, he only led the biggest club in the world, but many have led that club before and none have achieved European glory like he has.
  23. He never did it in Stoke on a Tuesday so we can't really tell.
  24. Ha, I'm about to bet this will be a 4.5+ goal game (in favour of Bayern )
  25. I know there is a lot of hatred toward the Champions League, but tonight will likely be one of the best games of football in a while (at least judging by the first leg and the result) Bayern need to push it, I expect a high scoring game!
