  1. Wonder what’s next for Deano two manager-less premier league clubs and none in for him. I think he’d be better off finding a league 1 team with a long term project and promote them to the championship.
  2. so much depth to this man
  3. And over 80 career goals in top flight leagues and European competitions sure some where in “lesser leagues” but it’s only 30 odd less than Danny Ings who’s probably scored half his goals in league 1 and the championship.
  4. Of course he will there’s now incentive to play regular football any more. Players are picked on the basis of what team they play for.
  5. Which proves they don’t need to worry about signing x amount of players each season, their best players this season have been free transfers and academy players.
  6. Would certainly be interesting have you got any more information on where they will live and in what country? but how is this any different to grass reared beef c cattle grazing marginal land? The emphasis on grass reared not grain fed.
  7. Yes but what did you expect? Two were signed in the championship, the other was a 3m number 2 . Tom Heaton didn’t want to play second fiddle to Martinez so I’m a bit puzzled why you think we’d sign a reserve keeper of quality.
  8. We get the point you don’t like Buendia
  9. I think he’s good enough for premier league football , question is can we give him the minutes? It’s pointless keeping him about to com on for 5 minutes here and there. But if he keeps up this form until end of the season then I think he will need to be tested at higher level than the championship wether that’s on loan at a premier league club or abroad, the other option is to sell him and insert a buy back clause.
  10. I can relate to this given the closeness in age his career coincided with an exciting time in my life villa doing well under Martin O’Neill a time where you could walk around in villa shirt in other parts of the country without having the piss taken out of you and he was genuinely one of the most exciting talents in English football at the time. I was playing semi professional football durning Gabby’s form period and remember watching him closely and trying to implement parts of his game into mine, maybe I watched to closely because at 28 I was fat lost my pace and had a reseeding hairline .
  11. A lack of Cutting edge cost Arsenal tonight Nketiah should have took at least 2 of his chances tonight , don’t get me wrong his link up play is excellent and he puts a shift in but he just can’t find the net consistently failure to address this in January has cost them.
  12. Any luck on finding this or buying it? Still haven’t watched it .
  13. Ahh so this the way you get away with stuff, tomorrow I will rob the local post office and claim it was all a horrendous mistake.
  14. I would say Raphinia was half as good and he went to Leeds initially.
  15. Watched about 20 mins of the match, he seemed disciplined in his pressing positioned him self well, didn’t see much of the ball you could if any during the period I was watching.
  16. Another positive in this is possibly another vote in the European Super League bid.
  17. Gerrard should drop to league 1 or 2 there’s no shame in it, Joey Barton is there not quite on Gerrard’s level but one could argue Mark Hughes at Bradford is.
  18. They’ve developed some good players in the past Raphinia, Ricardo Perreira and Marcus Edwards.
  19. More links to Inigo Martinez 31 central defender from Athletic Club out of contract in the summer.

    Unai Emery

I agree there’s no reason why you can’t play nice football with physical players, I couldn’t believe how big the Man City players looked compared to ours. I think this team would tear it up in a less physical league. Yes and Mikel Merino physical players with technical ability.
