  1. Well thanks to Brexit, looks like the powers that be will finally get the inflation they have been craving for the past 6 years. Unfortunately its the poorest and those on fixed incomes that will be hardest hit as usual.
  2. Apparently people saw loads in Birmingham recently between the 2nd and 5th of this month, most sighting were around the location of the ICC
  3. a lot of people also understand it's meaningless banter and can take it a such, the way to take any piss taking is with a pinch of salt
  4. from the mouths of the conservatives in control of what will happen the ones that seem most important for them to burn are; any ones that protect workers rights, to things like fair contracts, holidays, sick pay, grievence procedures and general unfair treatment. Things that protect the vunerable in society, things like human rights etc.
  5. anyone who has an opinion Awol disagrees with, or can't understand their discussion points perhaps?
  6. so is it "potato heads claret and blue Army" then?
  7. I'm not sure what our negotiating position with the EU has to do with my post, I didn't mention it once and it wasn't in my thoughts in the slightest, why should it be, it's just a sideshow really, a necessary process but still a side show. if you think y post was about our negotiations with the EU, then you need to read it again.
  8. working at the local food bank? handing out caviar and champagne to the feckless wasters of society is he? well they got to have something to eat whilst they sit in front of there big screen tv's generations of scrounging has enabled them to buy.
  9. This is not an argument against leaving the EU. Would like to point that out from the start before people jump over me as being pro EU. The people aren't going to get what they voted for anyhow, particularly because the 2 main reasons people voted for Brexit, ones which i fully support, being regaining sovereignty and controlling immigration are not the real reasons behind Brexit, its purely about deregulation, which in itself isn't always a bad idea, just most of the time because it is deregulation for the benefit of big corporations and the tiny minority that benefit when they do well, and its isn't 99% of the population. The regulations that effect the majority will stay in place, Fox is pro TTIP, which is basically about giving sovereignty to big business, its about removing democracy and the will of the people and making the people even more impotent to change anything through voting than they already are, It's about rigging the game even further than it already is in favour of a select few. It's the deregulation of the banks. That worked out so well for the majority of us didn't it? I've been anti EU most of my adult life, Understandable really as i've gradually realised that fundamentally I'm an anarchist, in so much as i find most elitist hierarchical power structures deplorable. naturally I find the new religion of Statism as unpalatable as most of the old ones, I'm firm in belief that we should have never joined the EU, So saying we shouldn't leave would be hypocritical. Remember though getting divorced is not the same thing and never getting married in the first place. We are leaving at possibly the worst possible time because we have probably the worst type of politicians in control of the process. a mix of the unbelievably incompetent, the morally bankrupt and brazen hypocrites . Politicians with unjustified delusions of competence. Politicians that don't believe in experts or facts or reason, just blind flawed ideology. Politicians that will sell us out in a heartbeat for a few pieces of silver. They don't give a shit about any of the things they claim to, the things as elected representatives they should, about your Job security, about your standard of living, about controlling immigration, your health, about the environment we the majority of us have live in, about national sovereignty, in which in reality is that of the voice of the people of a nation. About the nation, which in reality are the people that make up a nation. They care about giving away or selling off on the cheap national assets to friends and family, They will happily lie to you and sacrifice all that you have to secure their and their friends undeserved guaranteed positions of priviledge, wealth and ultimately power.. The public have been mugged off, like all great cons the victims have themselves to blame for various individual reasons. I've stayed relatively quiet on the whole subject of Brexit because it's one where i feel very conflicting emotions, i 'm anti EU membership but with the people controlling our direction as we leave we all should be very worried were they are taking us.

  15. nothing surprises me with the current bunch of nasty words removed supposedly serving us, worse than the last bunch of words removed by a mile or any of the bunch of words removed we've endured since 1979 or possibly ever
  16. legal argument has been muddied by by Parking eye V's beavis. but yes basically they can claim for breach of contract, or trespass, both of which are limited to actual loss suffered., any amount which is excessive is deemed an penalty and is unenforceable, fortunately most people running parking companies are buffoons with very poor grasp of the law and many evolved from the ransom industry that was clamping and havn't evolved much beyond expecting payment upon demand.
  17. It's not a parking ticket it's a speculative invoice I doubt very much parking eye own the land but are merely acting as agents and might not even have the rights to issue charges or take open proceedings. however parking eye is the worst offender when it comes to using the small claims court to try to get people to pay up do not appeal, challenge the ticket. They claim you parked for X amount of time, I doubt very much they have any proof, just a anpr photo of your vehicle being driven into and exiting the car park. you will fail in your challenge, parking companies like parking eye only make money from people paying there. ANPR is unreliable especially if set up badly and can result in 2 short visits, maybe without even parking, just to drop off and later pick up passengers as one long visit. Any contractual charge is quite clearly a deterrent aims to discourage and as such is unenforceable, well until parking eye v beavis muddied the waters where parking eye lied to and mislead the supreme court to get a favourable judgement, however that judgement only applies to car parks were parking companies pay to farm them Don't take parking eyes work re signage, I know of parking eye managed car parks were entrance signs are not present, and when they are there are strict guidelines as to there placement and makeup, ie colours used fonts etc. I'm currently at work but check out the http://www.parking-prankster.com/ and http://forums.pepipoo.com/ for excellent advice and help learning how to deal with there parasites oh and don't admit to being the driver, decline their request, defending these as the keeper is a better strategy.
  18. England probably have enough already, Pakistan would need to set a record for a successful run chase in a test at Edgbaston, However i expect England to bat for 30 - 45 mins tomorrow and to try to score 30 plus runs. Pakistan have quite a long tail so if we get 5 or 6 before tea it will be an interesting last session.
  19. Good fightback this afternoon from England, from a pretty ominous position to first get Pakistan out for 400, then wipe of the deficit without loss was a good bit of work. They need to bat tomorrow out, which if they do would put them on around 400 plus. game is finely ballanced hopefully were in for a couple of good days play.
  20. admittedly stolen. Happy eggs picture hosting
