  1. As a local this was very much down to some crazy decisions with new bus and cycle lanes. Caused absolute traffic chaos across the whole city

  7. Not picking on your comment it's just the newest one that says the same thing. I've seen a lot of this about last big pay day we have no idea what the deal would be he may take a big reduction to play 1 last season I'm prem who knows

  12. I'm not sure but I always thought on deals like this. The option to buy fee was agreed with player and club and it's just a case of us deciding to activate it at the end of the season
  13. I thought they did bring in a winter break of sorts a few seasons ago only half the teams played one week and then the other half the week after IIRC. Obviously covid stopped it after the 1st winter
  14. Not In England if double jabbed and do lateral flows everyday. I'm pretty sure is the latest
  15. Didn't Brexit get rid of these
  16. Yes you are quite right. I meant it in the case of the full lockdown being recommended as was the original post I was commenting on, the only way to stop the virus completely with the tools we have to stop all interaction between people so there is zero chance it can transmiss. You then have to work backwards from there to find some sort of middle ground between wiping it out and allowing people to carry on there lives. Of course the worse case scenario is the only one that gets highlighted by some of the more click hungry media. And fuels the anti vax conspiracy theory crowd
  17. Yes this would be the case as the scientist job is to look at work case scenario and it's the only scientific way of eliminating the virus completely. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to do this in the real world as there are many other considerations to take into account
  18. Hasnt this been the same sort of numbers for weeks now?
  19. Had the Pfizer was told I didnt need to wait, but not to drive for 15 minutes
  20. Struggling this year to get in the spirit. With a 6,5 and 1 year old I should be in peak xmas mood but i just find myself pretending for them. Mixture of work covid dark nights all just getting a bit to me. Not helped by the fact my lads main gift is tickets to a monster truck show in January which I'm pretty sure will be cancelled
