  1. Extra £500 if you want basic sanitation I'm afraid.
  2. This is just it to me. A few years back when it was more like half the price I was willing to put up with it. But now, I'm paying a premium price and it's not on that I have to get splashed with 100 other blokes' piss that hasn't drained from the urinals. And that's after queuing up for five minutes in a smoky stinky toilet. Obviously it's not beyond our ability to build half-decent facilities, but our £700 isn't enough to have a splash-free piss. Extra £500 if you want dry legs.
  3. Definitely. After the booking he did the jump up and make the bar shake thing, which is a booking these days. Don't know if we'll ever see the day a ref has the stones to make two quick bookings to a keeper like that though. I'd argue he should have been booked for the challenge too since he stopped Watkins from nodding it in.
  4. It looks nice. So the club can provide decent facilities for the fans if they want to then. They just choose not to for our £700-800, obviously have to pay twice that if you have the audacity to want to piss or have a pint. As a Lower Holter, I've always been jealous of the upper's two concourses, far more space up there than the lower. Seems like 5/6ths of them are in the same boat as us now, with half the facilities they used to have. Was a nice touch in the lower Holte today that they'd put some sort of filter over the drains on the urinals so they were three inches deep in piss. A lovely experience when wearing shorts, real premium pissy legs feel for the ticket price
  5. Thanks for your expert insight about what the injury was and how it should be handled. Assume you are a doctor of some description? I should write to the club with the benefit of your expert opinion about what our top quality highly trained medical team are doing wrong. I'm sure they'll appreciate your input and allow the current staff to apply for clowning roles at Zippos.

    Matty Cash

Me too. He's not the best right back in the world, and could definitely use some competition but it's almost like Bailey got a goal and assist so he's Scapegoat Of The Week this week instead.
  7. I'd be tempted to give Duran a start to see what he can do in 90 mins with the regular first-teamers.
  8. That was weird. Like playing a lower league team in a friendly and you just expect to win comfortably. Fairly flat atmosphere, as I think it was just so easy. Absolutely flabbergasted at how bad everton were. Maybe that shows how well we played, but conceding two goals from throw-ins like that was weird. Great to see some 'fringe' players get a decent run out. Great to see Duran score, read a poor throw in, took a terrible touch then an excellent finish. Weird but I'll take it. Bad stuff: Watkins has had an iffy start to the season, and yet another bad injury. We'll be playing the u18s and the ladies team by May at this rate. I don't like the extra 15 minutes with the injury time. It's a long time to stand, and I reckon it'll cause injuries to mount. Neither team could be bothered to play that additional nine minutes in the second half.
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool come in for him, he'd do very well there I'm sure. However, we do know how much cash they have available, and I'd be informing them that any offers below £110m will be immediately filed into the recycling.
  10. If I was going to buy a shirt, I'd buy the training top. Looks better than the kit, cheaper, and no stupid logos all over it.
  11. Write the theme tune, sing the theme tune
  12. You'd like the think the amount of coins chucked at him would cover his wages.
  13. The taking caps off bottles of pop thing always struck me as stupid - I've never bought a bottle of pop in the ground, but if it's something you do often, is it worth just taking a spare bottle top with you from home into the ground? Then you can just stick it on, as I guess they're the same bottles you'd get in the shop.
  14. Exactly. Before VAR the refs could and did favour the bigger team. Now, the ref AND VAR can can and do favour the bigger teams. It's just doubled the chance for bullshit.
  15. I feel the same. I'm used to disappointment from decades of being a villa fan, but to go from such dizzying optimism a week ago following the Europe draw, to this, it's absolutely crushing. This season felt like our big chance to make an impression on the league, to go for trophies, and now two of our best players are gone for the season just like that. **** the result, these things happen and we always lose first day of the season, but to lose Mings for what seems to be the whole season. And what sort of player comes back if the injury is as bad as it looks? This morning I'm just looking at articles on the Saudi league and thinking '**** it, just take the **** lot'.
  16. I think we need to ring the changes after that farce, as much as we can anyway. Martinez Cash Carlos Torres Digne Luiz Tielemans Diaby Coutinho Philogene Watkins Squad already feels thin now when you try and make a bunch of changes with the injuries we've got. Any optimism about a successful league campaign alongside a shit at Europe feels long gone.
  17. Well said. Does my head in. The 1992 beginning of history is **** stupid anyway, but epseically so when the leading scorer's goals don't count in May 1992, but magically do from August 1992. WTF.
  18. Be interesting to see where the club pitch this in terms of ticket prices...
  19. We play away on the 24th, home on the 31st, regardless of opposition.
  20. Agreed, would love a big 256 team unseeded, straight draw one-leg mashup. Win 8 games and you win the trophy. Lose one and you're out. Simple.
