Just watching AZ vs Valencia and I really like the look of Brett Holman. Hopefully he'll be able to actually play some football at Villa.

I'm getting very close to just not caring anymore. It seems that no matter how poor we are, McLeish will still be here. First time in ages that I didn't even try to watch a game last week vs. Arsenal. -
If's and but's. He didn't do that and now we are really deep in the shit and things aren't anywhere near being rosy. We've been in some sort of transition phase for the past 18 months with a terrible manager and we look like relegation fodder. He needs to sell as soon as possible.

So losing and playing atrociously has become the norm now and we should just accept it? -
I've been to both New York and Washington and both times it was fantastic. The people really are exceptionally friendly (at least compared to us Northern Europeans!). It was a bit weird for me though because where I'm from people rarely talk much to strangers but out there most people were very open and friendly (sometimes a bit over the top though IMO).

That was the eighth time this season that he scores three or more goals in a match. I'm sorry but he's the best player to play the game. I know it's extremely cool, hip and against the grain to claim he's only so good because of the players around but that's just batshit crazy. Ridiculously good player.

To put it simply a heart attack is when there is improper blood flow to the heart and that can cause parts of it to die. A cardiac arrest is when the heart muscle stops contracting and the heart can't pump blood and that means no oxygen to the brain.

? so Zidane was amazing in 1998? There's a bit of a difference between having an average World Cup and being amazing. To say that Zidane had an average World Cup in '98 is quite frankly ridiculous. Was he also average at Euro 2000? Personally I'd kill for "average" performances like that at Villa.

I also echo everything about Inglourious Basterds, superb film. I don't quite know what it is but I really, really like it. Waltz's performance is fantastic, one of the most memorable movie characters in the last decade IMO. That strudel scene is my favorite part.

A few of my friends showed me that picture yesterday and were amazed that I had no idea about Neverending Story. I just can't remember watching it (and I think I would remember with that slimy dog thing there!).

The Swedes on here might know about this show. It's apparently from 1991 but I think I watched it a bit later. When I was little I grew up in Sweden and I remember watching that show and being scared absolutely shitless (especially with that devilesque red haired doll). In fact when I see that again, I'm creeped out!

Yeah I think that's a very likely outcome. Hope he knocks Chelsea out in the Champions League next season. be more likely a Europa League game and on current form Inter might not even get that far Yeah you're right Inter probably wont make it but I think Chelsea, sadly, will finish in the top four.

Sadly I agree with you. -
I think most of our good first half performance was because how incredibly poor Blackburn were, giving us way too much space and just letting us get at them without doing anything. I knew it would change in the second half because a)No team can be so poor in the first half without doing at least something about it at half time and b)McLeish would set us up trying to hold onto that 1-0 lead and making us defend deep in our own half and soaking up all the pressure. We really, really need McLeish to bugger off.
