Solskjær comes across very well in that interview. Praising Villa and basically saying it's up to Villa if they want him but as it stands he's committed to Molde. Top man. I think Randy and co are going after the right candidates this time around.

It still seems like more than an interview and more of selling and showing OGS our facilities (Bodymoor Heath etc.). I mean why send a private jet out at a great cost only for an interview? I also don't think Solskjær would have done it unless it was more than an interview given the aftermath today.

Maybe the private jet and tour around BH and it's facilities is intended to change his mind ? That rejection was about the time Solbakken was hired as Wolves manager and Solskjær was asked if he would still be at Molde and he replied "yes". It was taken a week or so ago.

So info from both MYSTERYMAN and thetrees seems to make this appointment likely. It is a risk but **** it I'll take risk and the potential of something great rather than the certainty of mediocrity with someone like Curbishley or one of those dinosaurs.
