For anyone that follows the Dutch Eredivisie. Kolbeinn Sigthorsson wasn't supposed to even be in the Ajax squad today but he came on as a sub in the final 10 minutes and scored after 6 months out. Could be vital for Ajax in the title race.

What annoys me the most is that every week is the same routine. We play negative, gutless, torrid football and lose/draw (depending on the strength of the opponent). After that I spend all my energy furious at McLeish and I want him gone but I know it wont happen. This repeats itself every weekend. I'm starting to detest the man. -
From the match thread: Our next games are against Liverpool, Stoke, Man United and Sunderland. After that we face a relegation 6 pointer vs Bolton. We are in the shit and it's because of Alex McLeish and the idiots who hired him.

I absolutely love Stan but I think talk of retiring his shirt is way premature. Lets just let him focus on getting well, I think.

Some are reporting that Stan insists that the game will be played. I'm sure the players will want to win it for him.

I think it depends on how the players take it. Maybe they'll want play for him or maybe they understandably just wont be able to.

Same here. Admittedly it's the only game I've seen him in this season but from what I saw he looks like an excellent signing.

Just watching AZ vs Valencia and I really like the look of Brett Holman. Hopefully he'll be able to actually play some football at Villa.
