Yep midtable clubs start thinking about the beach late March. Wigan used to pick up loads of these points towards the end of the season.

Not putting in the work and being lazy is compleatly the wrong way to going to move on. He will be way down on top clubs lists atm. I do think there was a certain why should I bother, I'm never getting the ball in the latter Lambert days. I sort of understand this, as Lambert stopped playing to his strengths. He played well against Newcastle and scored and got an assist against the Baggies. So the green shoots of recovery are there.

I was a right back when I played...I played left back once, it's more difficult than you think. You turn naturally the wrong way on the wrong foot, but these wasn't the problems Lowton had. It does shock me Lowtons swapped not Hutton tbh

That felt like West Ham in Lamberts first season. I hope it's the catalyst...and maybe a Sunderland like result in the pipeline.

He was caught well out of position at least twice, but it's forgivavle because he was playing out of position.

You know I wonder if something's been said to him...or he's over thinking things to much. His best game after he came back from injury was probably the Spurs game. He was husseling and bustling, but got to much involved and got sent off...which might have cost us 3 points. Maybe he's nervous at costing the team again. Add that to lack of service it's all added up to what's happening atm. Just thinking at 4.30 am lol

I would have sacked him after the Chelsea, Tottenham, Millwall and Bradford debacles to be fair He turned that around to be fair, and we finished the season well, sacking him then might have been terminal. But at the time I thought the job was to big for him.

I think he's giving everyone a shot at the moment. He's come in and given everyone a clean slate. Most of us would have dropped Gabby last night, but we've seen signs why he started. He's not had a pre season, or any games with this lot...and these aren't his players.

I think the Lambert thing was almost papered over by lack of investment and cut backs. I've noticed horrific coaching errors since he's gone. Not just tactically but fitness wise. I almost gave him a free pass because of the sanctions, but it looks like he's neen negligent on the training pitch. That saying, he should have gone earlier, at the end of last season to be precise.

You only have to go back a few pages when I have tared Clark a new one. I just never thought he would make it as a centre half, he's been my player of the season, and I'm not even kidding. And he's always fit. Unlike our other centre halfs.

They were utter shite. They were as bad as we've been over the last 3 months yet almost nicked a point. They had 2 chances from a free kick and a corner, and Pulis thinks they deserve a point ffs. He will keep them up for a couple of years, but we've watched similar shite for nearly 4 years now, I'm glad he wasn't an option. I think I would rather go down or watch more of that.

And it was one of the pros I said about Sherwood when I said I would take him, he's supposed to be an excellent coach...which is what we've missed.

I quite like how he said it too. He said something along the lines, every new manager says the players arnt fit enough, but that's because Lambert was trying something different. I need my players fitter for the type of football I want to play. It's been clear, certainly for the last few months, Lambert had been obsessed with possession and shape. Sherwood wants to play with a higher tempo, and press higher up the pitch...which is what I've been calling for.

Lerner 100%. He had a chance to get rid of Lambert in the summer and didn't. He's made bad decision after bad decision which will eventually cost himself a lot of money, and us out top flight status.
