He shouldn't need to get goals or assists, that isn't his game. He needs a proper role though, go and ask Delph what his job is in our team and I reckon he would struggle to answer it. You don't have Oscar playing holding midfielder for Chelsea or Mikel as a box to box player, we need players around Delph that can compliment him and let him focus on doing certain things. I said earlier he is having to try and do everything and being just okay at it, where as he needs to focus on certain aspects and become brilliant. This is what makes me question Lambert as a manager as I dont think he knows what he's doing. How would I help Delph? Get a proper DM/Tackler in and then the much needed no.10, attacking flair player. I think Delph is much like Ramires, same kind of build, both pretty quick, good tackle and tracking but aren't as good at passing/shooting. Problem is he has KEA and Westwood next to them, and I dont know what their roles are either. It must be the most unbalanced midfield in the league.

He's a sprinter, not a footballer. That is why he was signed. If we ever want to create a footballing side he will have to go.

Daniel Sturridge has been in my house. Iv played poker with Brad Garrett (Robert in Everyone Loves Raymond) & Anthony Gardner (ex Spurs, now Sheff Wed captain, 1 England cap!). On the note of Barry Bannan. We were playing golf at Lea Marston pitch & putt and he was in the group behind us, he over hit his tee shot (Insert joke) and we helped him find his ball. At the end they skipped the last hole and replayed the first, he tee'd off and left the ball and went. I got that ball and still have it, after he has broken the world record for Real Madrid in pass completion, assists and all time cross accuracy, I'm going to sell this golf ball to Con for £10m.

I actually went snowboarding when I was about 14/15 in Austria. Me and my brother with about 8 German kids, 10 minute explanation in German and then 2 minutes to us. Got pissed off after 2 days and quit. Should have had some lessons at the snowdome before I went.

In THIS team and under Lambert I agree it is like playing with 10 men. When Lambert came in he had Bent a 24m striker who all he needs is some service and he signed Benteke, turned out to be pretty good but Bent will get goals as proved when he had players like Young/Downing/Walker/Albrighton playing wide and getting crosses in. His record for us was pretty good under McLeish and Houllier.

Fingers crossed No manager resigns anymore because they don't get a huge payoff. We have a manager that will never resign and a chairman that wont ever sack him. Lambert has resigned on plenty occasions previously. Small clubs aren't worth much, his Villa contract would be worth millions, he isn't going to jack that in regardless.
