I didn't want him here and I don't want him starting games because I think we can do better. However I will admit I thought he was our best player today. Held up the ball well, made some good runs when we broke but poor balls in didn't find him. Set up Weimann well for our only other notable chance and in generally worked really hard up front to try and get the ball and got stuck in.

Not true at all. Southampton, Crystal Palace, Stoke have all improved for the better after a managerial change without adjusting their spending much. Apart from the 40m spent by Southampton. Or high profile signings in Jan by Palace, or Stoke buying in experienced players on high wages. Did you not see how much better Southampton were just from a manager change before any money was spent? Yeah they have spent a decent amount but they spent it on quality and promoted youth players. Stoke spent 6m total this season and again before Palace spent money Pulis had still started to turn them around. The manager makes a difference, saying things would be the same under a different manager is just silly.

I have had a ST for 10 year, but I just cant renew if Lambert is still here. Tactically poor, what little money we have he has pissed up the wall and spent on poor players who have done a job that our youth players could have done. We are very lucky we have had good results against the top teams, without that we would be deep in the shit. In fact how there are a handful of teams worse than us I do not know. Id like to see a league table not including top 6, we would surely be bottom. We just got beat at home to a team who are bottom of the league, they also beat us earlier in the season with ease when they hadn't won in about 9 games. This is his team and his tactics and they are not good enough.

I was tempted to go -1 Fulham, no Delph? I am doing it. Sorry but in these games we never lose 1-0 or 2-1, its usually a surprise win or we get hammered.

I still think we would be better playing him up front, has actually has pace, power and can win headers.

He is younger than Beckham but it will be around that, plus he will miss all of pre-season.

I could eat 5 fruit a day but have to go out of my way to do it. I don't like any veg at all. Once we get a bit better weather I will resume my juice diet. Apple, then a bunch of vegs like beetroot, celery, spinach, cucumber, carrot etc thrown into a juicer, then drink. Takes about 5 minutes, job done.

Pace? Passing? Finishing? Power? Crossing? Tackling? Composure? Strength? Nope none of that. Works hard and tracks back, but then again I would do that too if I played for a Prem club. Nowhere near good enough in that role, either play him up front or not at all.

He can reach the top and the fact his supply route is the likes of Gabby, Weimann, KEA etc, makes me sad. Just think what he would do with a midfield of Young, Milner, Petrov, Barry. Wouldn't even surprise me if he wanted to move to Everton (If they had any funds), there are a lot of teams that are now better than us and would enable him to express himself more.

I was on about secondary school, don't have a problem with how primary schools are run so I won't comment on that in regards to taking kids out of school for holidays.

It's been said before, but it's worth repeating: Surely your problem is with the people you have accepted as FB friends, rather than FB itself? If peoples' posts are annoying, unfriend them. Just keep the ones who use it sensibly. I dont have FB either anymore, got rid of it a while ago. I thought the issue was with the people I have on it so I removed loads of people I don't really talk to from 300+ down to around 35. I then bumped into someone I hadn't seen for a while 'I tried to add you on facebook'. People get offended if you decline them or remove them so I just got rid of it all together.

After 15 minutes of this game and after Stoke allowed us to play how we want, they started to press the midfield and the defence, they got nervous and started hoofing it because we have a high number of players miles away from the ball and no movement. Hughes obviously saw that if they press us we have no chance of passing it out from the back, Lambert didn't react to this at all and we had lost this game as soon as Stoke changed. We did not get a look in. Sylla came on and looked very nervous but actually got better the longer it went on, why on earth was Albrighton played in the hole behind the striker? This is just stupid, he is a winger and had no awareness of what was around him. Why are we persisting with Weimann, he is next to useless, someone tell me what he offers us? Did Lambert get it right last week? Well IMO no, great victory last week and the players worked hard etc, but formation wise he has used this same style with the same players all season. It will work from time to time and mostly against the better teams that come onto us but overall its awful and has failed time and time again. Matter of time before we get relegated under Lambert, I fail to see any progress from last season at all. Performances are just as bad.

He looked very pissed off with the defence. Waiting to kick off at 3-1 down he is at the centre circle and nobody is in any rush to get a move on with the game apart from him.
