Fingers crossed No manager resigns anymore because they don't get a huge payoff. We have a manager that will never resign and a chairman that wont ever sack him.

Na, that was too funny. The look on Lord Ferg's face was priceless. It was but it might not be worth how funny it was at the end of the season. Hopefully wont matter but its a point I didn't think Fulham would get.

Be interesting if that point makes a difference to Fulham at the end of the season and it could be at our expense, you never know.

They have top players and its their job to break down the defence and Fulham have one of the worst. Quick passes, movement, spaces. They have the players to do it but keep going wide.

Haven't read everything, its fairly obvious it isn't going to work though it seems most can see that. Fulham cant get out though, Bent doesn't have the pace or strength to hold the ball up there it's going to come straight back unless he gets some support.

Why are they crossing the ball? Fulham have big CBs and Utd dont have a single player who is known for heading ability.

Scoring goal wasn't Utd's problem, their soft DM/CB area was. We could do with Utd winning this but you still have to LOLmoyes

So yesterday we only had Bacuna on that he signed in the summer. Apart from Benteke who has been any good that he signed? Sylla - Hardly used, very average and would do well to become a championship players Benteke - Very good despite his off form this season, needs better players and tactics around him Westwood - Average so far Bowery - Not involved, youth players should have been given his spot Bennett - Been largely poor his entire time here due to not being able to defend, championship is his level Vlaar - Overall been good in what has been a poor defence but too injury prone Lowton - Solid first season but now gone completely to pot, strange one KEA - Okay but offers little quality, runs around a lot Kozak - Not what we needed to spend 7m on, waste of funds that were needed to be spent elsewhere and despite his goals his overall play is poor Okore - Injured so cant comment Tonev - A youth player should take his spot Luna - Average is being kind, another defender signed who cant defend Helenius - Not used at all yet makes the bench every week, could be good later on but funds could have been used elsewhere and a youth player done the exact same job so far Bacuna - Could be good, inconsistent and hasn't played in his proper position much another one average at best though Steer - Youth backup keeper, future. 24.5m first season & 17.5m this season for 42m spend on transfer fees alone. So he is trying to build something here, well what? Because Luna, Tonev, Kozak, KEA, Bennett, Bowery, Sylla aren't the future. He could have spent 30m of this in buying some much more solid 6-8m players plus extra with whatever wages could have been saved and promoted players like Grealish, Gardner, Curruthers, throwing loads of youth players in isn't the answer but one or two of them can play if they have good players around them. My ratings on Lambert overall from the 2 seasons he has been here Transfer dealings 4/10 (without Benteke this would be close to 1) Performances 2/10 Style of play/Tactics 1/10 Results 3/10 (Relegation battle last season and 4 points off the drop now despite there being some real poor teams like Fulham & Cardiff.) If this was McLeish he would be out the door and the fans would be booing every week. Performances have been the worst I have ever seen at Villa Park and that is a lot down to tactics and the way we try to play. Over the last couple of season who have been our most important players? Benteke, Guzan, Delph, Gabby, Weimann & Vlaar. Fair enough he resigned Guzan but to be honest 4 of them were already here when he arrived. I cant see anything he is doing right and using this budget as an excuse is poor, there are tons of teams who have spent similar to us. Id put up with good results for bad football, or bad results for good promising performances that might get us somewhere long term but hes doing neither. How he is still in a job baffles me.

We could be 8th we could be 16th it doesn't matter because the fact is we are 4 points off the relegation zone.

Wins are wins. Wish people would stop trying to take those away from us just to fit an agenda. And the performances are shit. We didn't even play well in them games. We have failed to create chances or even test keepers against real average sides over and over. West ham today, Stoke away, Cardiff at home, Fulham away, Palace at home, Swansea at home, Hull away, Newcastle at home. This might be a results business but performances show long term where you are going.

We had two insanely lucky wins against Man City and Saints, without them we would be in the bottom 3 and to be honest based on our performances if we were there Id say we could have no complaints. We are lucky we aren't there now but it looks like its only a matter of time. Without them wins would Lambert be sacked? You would hope so.

He shouldn't need to be the person that is box to box, defensive mid and responsible for trying to create stuff. If he had someone next to him with some quality the burden wouldn't all fall on him.

Some of our fans are **** stupid. Boo a player that is coming on after being injured for months. Really? If I ran this club Id ban fans that boo our own players, what exactly are you trying to achieve?

A better manager could get more out of Benteke and this team. They deserve better.

Get out now, useless manager. Unlike some I wasn't blinded by a good performance against Liverpool. We have been shit for 95% of the season and the reason we looked okay at times last season was because we kept having to attack in games anyway due to losing. All our strikers just stand up front, offer no movement, no link up with the midfield. Awful tactics all season long, depressing it really is. Id rather go down and get a new manager than stick with Lambert and watch this dross for another 3 years. How is he closer to a new contract than getting the sack? Utter idiots running this club if he gets a new contract.

If West Ham dont score past this defence then they really deserve to go down. We should need to score 2 to win this.

Only just noticed a lot of the bottom half are playing each other. Huge weekend for us to get well away from that bottom zone.
