  1. Word of advise (learned the hard way)
  2. Loved this tweet: Sean Murray ‏@NoMansSky 3h3 hours ago For instance over night we hit 10 million species discovered in NMS... that's more than has been discovered on earth. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!
  3. The first few hours I had with this were tremendous. Had a shit eating grin on the whole time as it made me feel like a 10 year old kid again. The beginning absolutely delivers on what I interpreted it to be (I've only really followed in the last month so don't know what's been promised previously). The game's main crutch is the price-point. Does it have £50 of content? I can see that this is definitely not a game for everyone so if you are on the fence, check out one of the millions of playthrough videos on Youtube. If you have the patience then It will probably be half price in a few months. I've put my thoughts below in a spoiler tag as I know people will want to play with a fresh pair of eyes. There are no actual spoilers. The predicted backlash has started on reddit. 2 players have met up but cannot see each other! Cue meltdown. From what I gathered before, the game wasn't really built with meeting other people in mind.
  4. I've preordered as well (2nd time ever) It's been 15 years since I played a proper space sim. The last one was called Hardwar which has this excellent FMV into : Here (& Ben Shephard before he was famous) I predict a huge backlash from the community when it doesn't deliver the son of the messiah but as I haven't followed the game until a month ago, I haven't the same expectations.
  5. A quick search would show that World Rugby represents 120 countries whereas the International Baseball federation represents 124 nations (77 with organised leagues) 28 teams fight it out for the World Baseball Classic which is a similar number to both Cricket and Rugby. The relative strength of these teams also show a similar pattern with around 10 strong countries dominating the rest of the developing countries.
  6. No. The athlete registers on a database their whereabouts. They must specify a location where they will be for one hour a day (ie the testers should know in advance where to find the athlete). If circumstances change, the athlete can update their location up to one minute before the slot. Athletes are given the benefit of the doubt for two missed whereabouts tests in 12 months (used to be 18 months). CAS's reasoning will not be published which is great news for transparency.
  7. I just wanna be a space pirate again. Please please please make my juvenile dream a reality.
  8. Currently ranked #3 in the world... ...For damage done as Mercy in a round. Yes, I do get a lot of hate messages from my teammates
  9. Clearly is Sterling. Willing to bet my Villatalk rep on this.
  10. Has any 'keeper in Villa history played behind so many shocking defenders? Good luck to Brad - even when he was on the bench he had a great attitude and seemed one of the few to actually give a f*ck
  11. Ah Walter Zenga - what a great 'keeper
  12. Really enjoying Kick off Revival on the PS4 - it's the only thing stopping me playing Overwatch. The release is utterly barebones (pre alpha would be kind), there's no manual/tutorial whatsoever, the graphics are terrible and the presentation is laughable so it's getting absolutely panned in the reviews but the gameplay is epic. I would warn against buying it if you've never played the originals (it's probably akin to playing Dark Souls blindfolded) and even if you have, you still might want to wait until there is more meat on the bones (Dino has promised an update in July and further updates every 2 months)
  13. Just bough Overwatch. Can confirm awesomeness! No k/d being visible is a huge plus for me as it means players are more objective focused.
  14. Fuuuuuu - bought it (nba 2k16) last week! It's an incredibly hard game for the newbie and there's no decent tutorial mode. It's packed with content though so there's something for everyone.
  15. I'd definitely try and sort it out with Sony first. They are well known to be d*cks about chargebacks and often ban psn accounts who do so.
  16. Not too interested in the motion control stuff. I hope it's a growing phase and quickly forgotten about. The space/racing aspect excites me far more.
  17. The main quest was utter, utter garbage so didn't complete it. I really enjoyed the game as an open world fps but far preferred the previous 2 games.
  18. Steins;gate is a tenner with shopto: link
  19. Shotgun on the original endor is so much fun. You can chain some pretty nice kills. I usually pair it with scan pulse and scout trait.
  20. 150 hours so far. It's an incredibly fun game. 7 full maps now so the rotation lasts about 2 hours which is perfect for an evening stint.
  21. Assetto Corsa is being ported to console which is great news. I don't think a sim racer will ever be a hit on consoles (especially the multiplayer element) but I'm looking forward to playing it.
  22. I like the new update mostly because I'm not spending 10% of the game dodging homing missiles! The shotgun is a beast on Endor - Can't believe so few people run with it.
