  1. I like the new update mostly because I'm not spending 10% of the game dodging homing missiles! The shotgun is a beast on Endor - Can't believe so few people run with it.
  2. I'm looking forward to trying the changes out this weekend. I'm predicting everyone will be running with pulse cannons. The bowcaster was being abused by some running the bounty hunter/bowcaster/jetpack combo on smaller maps so it was always going to be nerfed. Reading the patch notes, it doesn't look like dl-44 is nerfed that hard - it will still kill in one headshot, it just wont fire as quickly.
  3. The pvp doesn't look interesting enough for me (I think it will turn into a massive gank zone) and ubisoft open worlds have become so dull & boring. I'll probably give this one a miss.
  4. Divinity Original Sin and Wasteland 2 are on sale on psn at them moment (£40 for the pair). That should sort me until at least Easter.
  5. Was given this for xmas and can confirm awesomeness. Played nearly exclusively on Supremacy thanks to some engaging and balanced maps - each one requiring a different playstyle. My only gripe is the fact that the reg on the shotgun is very dodgy. Sometimes you will hit someone square in the face but do no damage. Other than that the guns are very even and I will get killed by each and every one in a single session. I can understand the cold reaction to the price point and marketing but if you're on console and accept that you are never going to be good enough to play cod or battlefield then this is the fps for you. Oh and people that use homing missile will be damned to the 9th circle of hell.
  6. It's not a deep RPG game in the same way 1 and 2 were. Saved you 18 mins I could understand making such a video after fallout 3 but by now that ship has sailed, realised it's forgot its keys, come back, then sailed again.* * © Yahtzee
  7. As a fan of the original arcade I think Gauntlet is a very good modern adaptation. It seems to have a high skill ceiling and can be enjoyed single player as well as in co-op.
  8. Found another great location off the beaten track where you get tricked & trapped and have to find a way out. It's finding places like this that keeps you coming back for more.
  9. It's a good price considering people who bought that content when it first came out would have spent £110+ on it. I'd watch a few videos to see if you'd like it. If you like hunting loot or like the multiplayer, it's good value for money. If you're looking for a single player narrative driven game then avoid as that part of the game is garbage.
  10. Yep. I've picked up a masters in engineering as I've visited the Corvega assembly plant so many times. The best stuff is found by just exploring. The vaults are a little underwhelming too. You learn of the premise and where things went wrong but there's not that detailed explanation of what happened as the experiments unraveled. My favourite quest has to be the one based on a famous sci fi movie. I was totally suckered and didn't realise what exactly it was until the 2nd half of the quest.
  11. There are a lot of rubish 'quests' (Sanctuary residents are getting captured so often I'm wondering if they're in on some sort of extortion racket). If you're getting a lot of "Go there and shoot those people" missions advance the story a bit to unlock more side quests or just go exploring. There is some really great stuff out there but maybe, because of the size of the world, it's spread a bit thinner. Would strongly recommend taking companions because they can have some great side quests
  12. The random encounters are great. Boston feels like a living breathing war-torn city with gunfire sounding in the distance nearly everywhere with flashes of explosions lighting the horizon. You really have to feel for the residents of Hangman's Alley!
  13. Rocket league. They've created a fun concept and executed it perfectly with an outstanding consumer friendly approach to DLC. Runner up would be Fallout. A hell of a game with hundreds of hours of content but there are too many minor flaws for it to surpass Rocket League,
  14. The cup is likely to have a larger surface area to volume ratio so would therefore cool quicker under the same external conditions.
  15. The game definitely rewards the melee players (you mad mad b*stards!). About 80% of my legendary drops have been melee weapons with a lot of interesting perks. Oh and in the hacking minigame you can get extra lives/wrong words removed by looking for a pair of brackets (sorry donnie) and selecting them eg (%*%^)
  16. It's a guy having fun with mods and a very very powerful PC! There's some more epic battles on his channel.
  17. Gonna wait until the price drops which happens a lot with online only games. I've seen Titanfall, Evolve, Elder Scrolls and Destiny(vanilla) less than £20 quid around 4-6 months after release.
  18. 1000 Deathclaws VS. 100 Brotherhood Of Steel
  19. They've definitely done the Skyrim thing of having a ton of fodder enemies before having one tough b*stard boss (which is why I am now carrying my fatman everywhere). If you set the protectron to medical responder it leaves you alone as long as it doesn't see you attacking anyone and will attack raiders. I'm guessing the subway steward will do the same if you can give it a subway token but haven't tried it yet. In the room you're talking about my protrectron lasted about 3 seconds before Jared blew its brains (or circuitry?) out.
  20. Have you tried sneaking wearing light/leather armour? Putting some extra points in the sneaking perk on the agility tree also helps - with 3 stars you are pretty difficult to find and can easily duck into sneak mid fight (even if you're companion is spotted you can still get the sneak critical). I'm guessing your perception is low if enemies are finding you before you find them?
  21. It's Ray's favourite catchphrase. He tries to use it in every sentence while commentating.
  22. Out of all the enemies in all the games, killing raiders gives me the most satisfaction.
  23. Just encountered my first mega boss. I don't know if it was a bug but the missile launcher I found legging it from the boss did no damage whatsoever. My new resolution is to carry my fatman everywhere.
