Exactly! I don’t think players care much for who’s in charge.. as we are soon to witness, that can change a matter of weeks after signing a contract. These players coming here had more to do with the man carrying the cheque book than Gerrard’s good head of hair. Coutinho’s the one I’ll give him 100% credit for, and he’s no better than the guy he’s displaced from the team.

If Gerrard had come in and done what Snith did, everyone would have been raving about how great a manager he is. it fizzled out when we lost Grealish, but what he did was great. Our best manager in recent years, including MON.

Not at all weird. I want the transfer window to shut asap so Gerrard can’t do any more damage. Can imagine Buendia, Bailey, Sanson, Mings, Luiz all demanding to leave if this fool stays in charge. And before we spend a shed load on some washed up 30 year old in a bid to save Gerrard his job.

will be another Gana. where he can’t perform to the best of his capabilities here and will go on to much greater things once he goes to a club that actually has someone who knows what he’s doing in charge. Even then he’s our best player.
