I seem to remember it being a very warm and respectful goodbye, typical of the man

He's going to be a helluva player when he's born

Now if we could just get Coutinho back and scoring like that....

And always use a sausage as a breakwater between the egg and the beans. You may want to mix, but it should be your choice

I see what you mean - but faster. He looks like this year's Lee Kang In. The player that looks brilliant, maybe not crazy expensive, good fit.... and goes to PSG

Things that piss you off that shouldn't

Just need a Primark cardie, a ruler and a pot of Humbrol "surrender white" and you can have that look for less than £30 -

Sounds like knock off adidas -
"Do you want to bet against us?" We're in poor form for sure and can't select consistently because of injuries and suspensions and we do look fragile. Looks unlikely at the moment, but it's really all up for grabs.

In the context of a whole season and potential impact, it might be the most stupid 10 mins I can think of

Staunton v Man U in 92-3 is one of my favourite Villa goals, I think because In saw it in a pub (was 10) - poked my head through the door of the James Brindley on Gas St basin just as he lined up the shot.
-
Was the Wright goal the same game in which Dublin scored a great volley (possibly even an overhead kick), shortly after his comeback from a broken neck?
-
I've got it, it was a transparent cock and balls aimed at a picture of Lee Bowyer shouting wasn't it? Only you knew it was there...

The banker loving, baby-eating Tory party thread (regenerated)

No, that was Neil Parish -
Ever manage to sneak anything in there? Massive blue SOTC on a blue background?
-
It is, and the form of execution is very specific in the statute books. You will be dangled upside down by your ankles and dunked in a cup of piping hot tea

I'm not sure if it was Covid or having children that massively reduced my reading as they happened at the same time. Have been on the same book for months. Though I think it's partly because I read mostly before I sleep, and have tended to read fairly heavy non-fiction books in recent years. Not because I'm not interested in novels, but because I feel I should find out about the subject of the books. Would like to start reading fiction again. I do manage to sneak the odd 5 or 10 minutes on the piano though
-
Now why would you say that before the match?
-
Lovely goal. Does Zaniolo deserve a bit of credit for standing still? Might have put off the defender ever so slightly

Yes - with the absences it makes total sense to prioritise these. And going further in Europe also helps our chances of CL qualification if I'm right in thinking ECL success contributes to getting 5th. We were competitive for a lot of the game with no Watkins, Torres, Martinez, McGinn, Kamara

I'd like both to play, but Zaniolo to start instead of Duran, and Duran to come on later, bit of an odd one I know

Intereresting role for Melania there, as it would presumably cast her as either his mum or Mary Magdalene

Wouldn't be totally surprised to see something totally leftfield. Unai often surprises with selections, but with good reasoning behind it
