  1. But then how can we be Aston Villa? I propose a change to Birminghamshire Villa.
  2. What ha Tom Davies done to his hair? Looks like someone who sells drugs to kids on council estates
  3. Bet their faces when they realised their result has done us a favour was an absolute picture. Shame really, as we dont need help from them lot down the road
  4. I dont think they even knew what the question was, never mind the answer
  5. And there's number 5... The record negative goal difference is 69 (Derby). Sheffield United are currently on 43 (at 0-5). There's still 13 games left...
  6. Sheffield United and Burnley are just so comically out of their depth its embarrassing. Sheffields game plan seems to be "sit in and hope we don't get battered"
  7. Surely thats not right? Our away form has been holding us back all season according to all the experts on tv and radio
  8. This. Just put a time limit on every decision - you've got 1 minute to look at it, and if you can't get a definitive answer then the original decision stands as there is evidently no "clear and obvious error".
  9. Hard to disagree really. He isn't the most exciting manager, but they're currently 8th having been in Europe for the last 3 seasons including winning a trophy last season. I appreciate they don't play very exciting football, but what are they expecting as a fanbase? If they care for results/league place then presumably the style of football won't matter too much as it's a results-driven thing, which they seem to be getting on the whole. If they want to play Duh West Aaaam Way then they'll be less concerned with results, because the style supercedes them. If they want to play super sexy swashbuckling football and be top 4/6 then they are supporting the wrong London team. Moyes saved them from relegation, left, then came back and did it again and then took them into Europe, midtable, won a trophy and now has them in 8th. Those inbreds should be worrying he hasnt signed a new contract, not that he's still their manager. Hopefully he leaves and they appoint some self-styled student of the game and it's an absolute **** disaster and they end up struggling and have to sell Kudus, Bowen and anyone else who is decent. That'll teach them.
  10. Not at this stage. The points we've lost there can be regained in the many games remaining at those points. If/when we get shafted in the last 3 or 4 games and let Spurs/Man Utd ahead of us then we'll struggle to pull it back. VAR arguably hasnt cost anyone a title/European qualification in a defining end of season game yet... sods law says we'll be the ones irrevocably shafted by it to benefit of at least one of The Amazing Big Six
  11. Can't help but think we're going to get absolutely shat on by them at some point and it'll really cost us
  12. Ajax 2 down and Betis losing 1-0 at home to Dinamo Zagreb. Both of them going out would be very good for us
  13. Finished 3-2, so I'd expect Legia to get through now. Olympiakos 1 Ferencvaros 0 Sturm Graz 4 Slovan Bratislava 1 Union St Gilloise 2 Frankfurt 2 were the other results - Frankfurt were 2-0 up. Ajax currently 1-0 down at home to Bodo/Glimt
  14. Hmmm, didn't see that coming at all... I wonder where he'll end up...
  15. Probably won't be this week, as Mrs Stewie is off work so no gaming for me
  16. Surely not? Man City haven't done it yet, so we'll see what happens...
  17. What a strike from Rice. This would be hilarious if it wasnt Arsenal winning in this way
  18. Picked the console edition for PS5 the other day, haven't played FM properly in about 10 years - won't be the same on console, but life getting in the way means I just dont have the time to play on laptop anymore
  19. I fail to understand why someone wouldn't want to see the utter hilarity of them being relegated to League One and the cuts to the playing budget that would bring. They'd probably get promoted again, but they'd be starting again from the bottom of the Championship. There's always the possibility that they end being another Derby/Bolton/Sheffield Weds and struggle to get back. All moot, as they'll comfortably stay up this season
  20. This is on ITV by the way according to the TV scheduler
  21. Yep. 3 year contract signed in January '22. The same month we first signed Chambers, Coutinho and Olsen Cheers Steven
  22. Signed a 3 year contract in summer 22, so he's got another 18 months left
