  1. Unfortunately no... That's a shame. Easy way to get in our good books straight away
  2. a 40% goal return would be incredible if he plays WITH Benteke (assuming Benteke keeps up his return too)
  3. I'm going to have to wait until pay day. But it's getting purchased on the way back from work on the 28th!
  4. I don't! No seriously I'm not going to do it. Even if I was happy with the morality of it, the money I'd be using is money I've got squirrelled away to repay a debt and I don't think I'd be willing to risk that, even if the risk was relatively low.
  5. Not really. We'd clash with the blue. Anyway, the decision lies with the refs/FA. Pretty sure you have to submit kit colours before the game and they get approved. But yeah you're right. it's not literally an away kit. it's a change kit for colour clashes. The reason they're called away kits is because it's the away team that has to change colours if there is a clash.
  6. You should probably stick it in the wash once in a while
  7. Well the swimming at the Athens Olympics was open air wasn't it in the end? I'm pretty sure that was because the stadium wouldn't have finished building a roof in time so they had to improvise.
  8. Damn, I wanted to watch that. I'll catch it on iPlayer
  9. For some reason this made me literally lol. Welcome DOF! Great first post.
  10. Nearly there. But surely Bacuna is so similar to "Hakuna" that it needs to start the song?
  11. Then how do you know they're doing it if you can't see them? ey? EY?
  12. Push yourself, but don't break your form. The key is progress. Assuming you're building muscle (and not cutting) you should be making progress every session. And BOF speaks the truth, Stronglifts is an excellent programme, especially for beginners. Or Starting strength.
  13. Yup, I was pondering the very same thing to be honest, hence the question. Food for thought.
  14. Well this is why I was asking about the morality of it! Doesn't really sit right with me that i'd be depriving people of stock then charging more for it. Can't say it isn't tempting though...
  15. Yeah that's what I was thinking. Also, with pre-orders, do you normally have to pay up front, i.e. when you pre order, or when the console is released?
  16. Thoughts about me pre-ordering like 10 of these and cashing in on the pre christmas scramble for consoles that aren't stocked anywhere? Risky? Immoral?
  17. Gotcha. Rainy Days is a good one to have as a supplement to whichever weather one you go for. It's just a rain radar, but it's very accurate.
  18. Just start boasting about Real Madrid's honours. And when he exclaims that Villa haven't won that many European cups say "Oh not Villa, I was boasting about Real Madrid. I just this second picked the most successful club I could think of and started supporting them. Isn't that how you did it?"
  19. Darren, am I right in saying that Rainy Days doesn't do forecast radar pics? It's just up until the point you are using it and you have to extrapolate the rest? Or am I doing it wrong?
  20. Because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
  21. Rainy Days is decent too. As far as I can tell it's only retrospective for the UK at the moment. But you can extrapolate it yourself to a good degree of accuracy. Your point about BBC weather is sort of what i meant. On the day, you can look at it and it'll be right for that day. But their forecasts beyond that are pretty pants, in my experience.
  22. To me that's like asking if you prefer water or hamburgers. I can answer it but they're very different things. I'd say TV shows. Good ones obviously. The amount of time you invest in them feels somehow rewarding. A good TV show you can be literally watching for years and years. There's something about that time that I enjoy (that's not to say I'm not prone to blasting through a series in a couple of days as well!) Movies are much less of an investment.
  23. Therefore you'd have to say no to Jaguar / Landrover too right? Woah woah woah, let's not get too hasty! Of course not, but I was using Oz's rule of thumb to be facetious. Doesn't matter anyway. I can tell you now that Jaguar Land Rover will NEVER sponsor Aston Villa. Jaguar as an individual brand wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility, but still very very unlikely and certainly not in the near future. But Land Rover won't ever be on our shirts unless something at the company was to change drastically. Interesting, what is it that makes you say that about LR, Steveo? Jaguar Land Rover Ltd is one company under Tata now anyway is it not? It's one company but two separated brands. Land Rover as a brand has a small list of sports that it will support. I think it's only 5. I can't remember them all but Rugby and Equestrian are certainly on there. Football definitely isn't one of them. It's just not a market Land Rover is interested in, certainly in the UK. Not saying that'll never change. But it certainly won't be any time soon. Jaguar is more relaxed. But it's still very unlikely they'd sponsor a team as it wouldn't benefit them (or at least the benefit wouldn't represent good value for money) and, given the fairly large corporate presence they have with Coventry City (or the Ricoh to be specific, but still heavily related to Cov), it's be very unlikely they'd choose Villa to sponsor if they were to move into Football Sponsorship, imo.
