  1. Kanye is a real paradox for me. I'm a genuine fan of his music. Late Registration is one of my favourite albums ever. But I firmly agree with you that the guy is a massive MASSIVE bellend. Utter clearing in the woods.
  2. When did you get the mortgage?! I got mine 3 years ago. 15% deposit on a £113k mortgage and I got 5.5%
  3. Thought I'd prove that I wasn't joking when I said I had a #SWAGG tshirt (I've protected the identity of my accomplice)
  4. I stole it from a Harry Hill joke book. Which is, surprisingly, actually quite good.
  5. Sorry to go back to this. They're exactly the same thing. One is generating a calorie defecit by eating less. One is generating a calorie defecit by burning more calories. Assuming you're doing it sensiibly, neither is more or less unhealthy than the other.
  6. Ooohhh last whatsapp. That's "laters on the menjay"
  7. Not quite answering the question, but if I had one wish from a genie it would be to be able to live my life from the age of about 12 all over again, complete with the knowledge I possess now. It would be freakin' awesome.
  8. That's a very very strange thing to be annoyed about. Fits the thread of course. But still. I suppose it's just both are lazy things. One is too lazy to do exercise to lose weight. The other is too lazy to do exercise so will reduce food intake. It's still laziness. I don't like laziness. People should eat normal healthy meals and enjoy some treats and do some exercise. I don't think dieting is laziness. The opposite in fact. I personally have to put a lot more effort in to make sure my diet is right than I do to get myself to the gym a few times a week. I imagine preparing a salad is a lot more work than preparing a sandwich and a bag of crisps. Not doing exercise doesn't equate to laziness. You go to the Gym though. I have no problem with people controlling their diet in conjunction with exercise for overall good health. What I dislike is women focussing on low calorie diets instead of doing any exercise for the sole purpose of being thin and looking good. Rather than eating a balanced diet and doing exercise for overall good health. get what I mean? I get what you mean, I just think you're fundamentally wrong. Diet is the key to losing/maintaining weight. Exercise is just a tool. You can't out train a lousy diet If you could only do one of the two things to maintain your weight or lose weight I'd recommend diet every time. I see this sentence as completely wrong: it's largely irrelevant though. It's calories in vs calories out. If you do that via dieting or exercising i really doesn't make any difference. I see neither approach as lazy, they both require effort.

  10. Queen Have the power of invisibility or the power of flight?
  11. Did you hear them groaning?

  13. ^^^ True Romance is a pretty well known film. And it's excellent
  14. I don't know from experience, but I've read that 2 weeks is about the limit for breaks. Any longer than that and you'll start losing strength/size. Obviously it varies for everyone and would depend on diet. But yeah don' worry about it. Just hit it hard when you're back and you'll be golden.
  15. He was so good at trolling his own fans and deliberately mispronouncing his players' names that Mike Ashley appointed him as Director of Football at Newcastle.
  16. Okore. For 2 reasons. 1. He appears to be the highest rated of who we've bought. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it enhances the hype a bit. 2. IF he does turn out to be as good as we think he might, he could help to transform the team. I think we'd all agree that a better defence last season could have given us a very very different season. If Okore urns out to be the business, he could be a hug epart in really sorting the defence, which would do wonders for us.
  17. Yeah. As I said it wasn't me buying it.
  18. Slowly tortured to death Be pissed off all the time or be pissed on some of the time?
  19. Break. Breaks are good. And you're on holiday, eat, drink, **** and be merry. Am going on a 12 week tour of SE Asia and Australasia next year, have absolutely no idea how I'm going to stop my strength from wittling away during this time. Can see myself being back at square one by the time I get back. You're likely to lose strength. Probably not that much but I'd be surprised if 12 weeks off didn't result in a loss of strength. The good news is it's a lot quicker to get it back than it is to get there in the first place
  20. Iron Man is smug, and a wisecracking arse. That's why Downey nails it. I actually do agree that RDJ nails it. It would just be infinitely better if those wisecracks were actually funny. As it stands it's like a Jimmy Carr standup. Dozens of one liners, the majority of which make me cringe.
  21. Yeah, this winds me up. People that say, 'I just say it as it is' and say it proudly like that's a good thing. Sometimes in life you need a bit of tact. Exactly. A lack of tact is rude. Being brutally honest isn't ok in every situation. See also, "that's just the way he is". If your behaviour has to be excused by someone saying "that's just the way he is", chances are you're a **** word removed.
  22. People who say "I'm not rude, I'm just honest" No, that's being rude you silly word removed.
