Don’t think they would dare sell Rice now in this window and perhaps that’s why they sold Diagana? Fans are obviously restless and perhaps existing players are now unhappy as well. Don’t really know why, but I have a real disliking of them. Owners obviously, but the Olympic Stadium thing was dodgy to say the least. Hope they struggle this season.

That Bournemouth shirt looks like it’s been in a shop window over the summer and has now faded badly. Perhaps it’s better up close?

I have absolutely no issue with us signing Wilson, as it’s still an upgrade on our current fit strikers. If we can bring in another forward and then a wide forward/winger, I’m pretty happy going into the new season. I don’t particularly care about costs either. It’s not my money, but I wouldn’t want us to roll over and pay any sum a club demands, which is why I think transfers take a little longer than most of us would like.

They’re all across the roof examples which is fine and even looks good, but why do we appear to have one different panel on the left as we look at the Holte? Why not all of them the same? Just looks untidy to me.

Amateurs all of you! Do any of you understand transfer windows? If we are interested in a player they have to reside with Julie B in her basement whilst we trash out terms with their agent. Dear me and thought people on here were knowledgeable.

Agreed, we do need some additional quality in this area. However, my sense is that we’ll pick up a Swift/Hughes/Billing type player. Will do a good job but not overly exciting. Could be wrong though, perhaps we’ll blow 20/30m on someone to play alongside Luiz and McGinn?

Sorry off topic, but why is part of the Holte End roof a different material/colour? It’s been like this since it was changed, but it bugs the hell out of me! Possibly to let in extra light? You just don’t see other stands here or round the country having to do this. Or is it just some cheap builder that ran out of the shiny metal stuff? Fantastic pic by the way . Now just need to finish cutting all these onions up as I can’t see.

Been getting “504 Gateway Time-Out” since 8:00pm! Thought we were having a Darren Bent style meltdown on VT!! Instead, it’s JT and few of the coaching staff playing a pub quiz. Gutted

It’s a strange one for sure but more so because he’s a quality wing back and suits Wolves down to the ground. Could have been tapped up or could be someone else in the Wolves squad is heading to Spurs this window? Matty Cash would probably slot right in at Wolves and is approx 5 years younger than Doherty.

No, you always need to improve your current personnel! Is Watkins not an improvement over any forward player we have? Yes he is. Is Cash not an improvement over Elmo and Fred? I bet now he is. I can also bet that Swift will turn out to be more useful to us than Lansbury, Nakamba, and Hourihane.

Totally agree mate. Watkins, Swift and Cash would be excellent squad additions. All 3 are upgrades on the personnel currently occupying there preferred positions.

With Chelsea spending like there’s no tomorrow, I’d be more than happy to take some of their squad players, either on a loan (with an option to buy) or permanently now: Zouma, Tomori, Christensen, Ampadu, Kenedy, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek etc Hudson-Odoi on loan would improve us immensely down the right side. Tammy would be the jewel but probably be 50m plus and would Chelsea even sell? Doubt that one would come off but they have a huge pool of talent that’s worth fishing in.
