  1. As above, really not confident that we’ll keep a clean sheet today. Could be a case of out scoring them.
  2. It’s the line up I predicted without Pau. Shame he hasn’t returned but we should have enough quality.
  3. Going to Alvor at Easter for 10 days and been multiple times over the last 20 years or so. We like the Algarve and stayed in Lagos, Alvor, Albufeira, Ferragudo and Vilamoura. Depends or your budget and needs but generally the Algarve is a very good family destination and easily accessible. Our preferred resort is Alvor and usually stay in a Pestana or Tivoli hotel.
  4. Never underestimate the influence of a certain meatball
  5. I agree. The Aston Villa being off centre and more obvious due to the point of the shield.
  6. Adidas really got the Scotland 150th anniversary shirt/kit right last year, so hoping for something similar for us next season. It was a beauty in my eyes:
  7. Expecting a very difficult game on Sunday and Everton’s height and physicality does worry me somewhat, especially when it comes to dead ball situations. Calvert-Lewin having his red card overturned helps them here, as does the imposing figures of Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Onana, Beto etc. Whether Doucoure plays/starts for them could a deciding factor, as he’s been a key figure so far this season. McNeil obviously out and sounds like Ashley Young could also be missing from their squad on Sunday. I would feel a lot better about this one if Pau starts, more so for his passing ability. Just so important to us. So, I’m basing my line up that he does return, but if not obviously Lenglet retains his place. I’m taking it as Tielemans is still missing. I also think Carlos is best starting here alongside Konsa, rather than Cash, mainly due to what I’ve explained above. My only other change would be to bring Diaby back in for Ramsey, as having the added protection of three CB’s and Kamara back, I think this can allow Moreno to push forward on the left and more so Bailey down the right. However, if Don Emery goes with Cash and Ramsey to start, I’m more than fine with it. Martinez Konsa Carlos Pau Moreno Kamara Luiz Bailey McGinn Diaby Watkins Subs: Marschall, Proctor, Cash, Lenglet, Dendoncker, Iroegbunam, Ramsey, Zaniolo, Duran I think we’ll score but can we keep a clean sheet? I do have my doubts, so I’m going to say 1-1, but would love another away win that’s for sure. UTV
  8. Imagine an away shirt as wacky as this though! My kids would love it
  9. Yep, awful disease/illness and a terrible way to go.
  10. Man alive, that design on the right is so woeful next to anything half decent.
  11. Just some small tweaking to the badge below (Aston Villa rather than AVFC) then using variations of it for different branding, signage, media streams etc, would have been enough for me. I cannot fathom why we’ve gone with a yellow lion on a blue background again
  12. Bruno acting like a total chump
  13. Martinez Cash Carlos Lenglet Moreno Kamara Dendoncker Zaniolo Ramsey Diaby Duran Subs: Marshall, Proctor, Konsa, Pau, Luiz, McGinn, Iroegbunam, Bailey, Watkins
  14. He’s rattled, like most of us because of what’s happening down the road.
  15. Wait, so Ollie Watkins clearly drinks water after a game, but John McGinn likes a strawberry Yazoo?

Humble pie here as I thought they would really struggle this season. Fair play to them.
  17. 13 wins in 20 games 42 points Joint top Got to be incredibly proud of this squad and the management team. Great end to 2023 and what a year for this club. UTV
