This. I want to be optimistic and aim for the stars, and I think we can beat anyone on our day, but REALISTICALLY if we can finish 12th on 40ish points after how we started the season I'll take it.

I don't really enjoying being on defence to be honest. I'm not one of the guys who audibles on D, knows the hacks/formations to get instant pressure etc... or user controls an outfield player. I just tend to control a Dline-man and try to initiate a block shed for pressure/sacks. At the end of the day if the AI wants to make a play it'll make a play regardless of what I do (without cheesing). I try, and I try to learn - but they'll score/break a tackle/beat a press everytime they want to. Especially in the final 2 minutes of the half/game. I will occasionally switch from a blitz to a cover 3 or Tampa if I see a complete mismatch in the line-up (i.e. 5 wide shotgun formation by the oppo), but generally I rock with zone blitzes.

It's all well and good talking about Cahill going on and doing well, but at the time he wasn't good enough and he went to Bolton from us. Playing week in week out obviously improved him dramatically, but he wasn't going to get the time here.

My lad is 8 now and has absolutely no interest in football. Constantly moans that all his friends like playing it. I'm sad as I'd love to watch the footy with him and have him grow up playing like I did, but it's not to be.

Rich Hall was hilarious in Jack Dee's TV show which name I forget. I remember looking forward to his bits in the show even if I can't remember the show itself. Only bit I recollect is putting 'celebrity eggs' in the microwave EDIT: Jack Dee's Sunday Service!

His stand up 'What It Is' was really funny, so I'm saddened to hear he seems to have flipped.

Loved Acasters Netflix special. All 4 for brilliant and linked in well together. I know he's not everyones cup of tea but he never fails to make me laugh (Would I Lie To You episodes with him in are also brilliant) Rhod Ghilbert live was so funny. Saw quite a few big name comics at Dudley Town Hall / Brierley Civic. My favourite was going to Glee Club in Birmingham and Lee Evans turning up to do a tester set for his upcoming tour quite a few years ago. One of my favs and I was star struck.
