No spaces left at all in the car park today and that was before Sainsburys was due to open (10am on Sunday!) I parked on Cremorne Road (where the tool hire shop is). Ordinarily I would have walked up but I was off elsewhere afterwards.

Finally got to see my folks new place yesterday. Its lovely, Village is quiet and nothing but views of sheep from the back garden. A number of the neighbours ave already been round to introduce themselves. A property community feel. Its made me want to live somewhere more rural!

I do it once a year. Like you say, it always sounds better than it turns out to be. Its cold, expensive and too busy. Plus it's rife with pickpockets. I'd rather be in a warm pub.

I've just 'braved' the supermarkets... tried Sainsbury's at Mere Green... resembled Glastonbury car park in the rain. Sacked that off and went to M&S Food Hall nearby... busy but manageable and the self service checkouts were moving quickly as the majority of the customers were elderly and wanted a traditional checkout (glaring stereotype I know!). My own fault, partly, leaving it this late (but I have been ill and not well enough to go out).

They must have been of interest to keep them detained on Friday and (presumably) Saturday night. If there is no evidence whatsoever then they'll be due a nice payout maybe?!
