Man Utd finished above Spurs last season. They also have won far more honours even in more recent times... circa 20 since Spurs last won anything (League Cup in late 90's) Every major manager would pick Man Utd over Spurs given the choice.

Man Utd are still far bigger than Spurs IMO. As good as Spurs are run, and they are run brilliantly, Utd is a different kettle of fish. They are one of the big sports teams in the World... alongside the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, Real Madrid, Barcelona etc.

Good result for Browns... 6-7-1 now and still in the hunt. Bungles and Ratbirds left, who we have beaten already this season. Could be even better - cheated at Raiders by the refereeing and if we had a bit more composure (or a better kicker) we'd have beat Saints and Steelers in weeks 1 and 2. Could very well be 9-5.

Xmas parties of excess were extremely common in the banking industry pre recession. I went to some epic ones, no expense spared and anything you wanted was available. Now they are a little more laid back and much smaller - usually departmental ones now as opposed to the whole business.

Another shit weekend - was meant to be out last night for a few beers, had to cancel as I was too ill. Should have been seeing my folks at their new house today and had to cancel as I feel like shit. This is my 4th weekend back in the UK after my break - 3 of them I have been ill!
