  1. Fresh from 2 last year (George HW Bush & Stephen Hawking), here are my new 'victims' Paul Gascoigne Clive James Phil the Greek Robert Mugabe Kirk Douglas
  2. So, someone had to start it... again You get five names. Five. If you list more than five names then any names from six onwards won't count. 100 points for a dead celebrity. 200 points if that celebrity is below 40 years of age on the day they die. The number of points is divided equally between every person who guesses correctly. If you are the only person to name somebody who dies then you get the full hundred. If five people guess, it's twenty points each. Decimal scores will be rounded up, ie, if three people guess then they get 34 points each, not 33.333 I'll be generous with the deadline. Entries are valid up until 23:59 January 6th 2019. Editing your post after that time will invalidate your entry into the game.
  3. This is an article from 2013. https://londonlovesbusiness.com/deputy-speaker-nigel-evans-cost-public-416800-since-2010-including-8000-in-expenses/ So between 2010-2013 he earned over £400k yet struggled to pay a legal bill? I think @Dr_Pangloss was right!
  4. Maybe not cash but at least available in equities, OEICS or EFTS. My comment was merely surprise that it was his life savings. If i'd been an MP for over 20 years, earning what they do (which is decent compared to national average) plus expenses paid plus additional income they can earn then i'd be disappointed in myself if that is all I had to show for it and that I had to sell a business, use my life savings and remortgage a property to pay a £130k bill. I suppose some people manage money differently.
  5. Cracking game at Baltimore - just one game too far for Cleveland. I thought we would get spanked at HT but came out in the second half and were great. Lots to look forward to for next season now.
  6. Perhaps it was a mistake to go for it but Kitchens has done a great job as OC in the last 8 games - he's turned Baker into a stud
  7. Its distance to the line plus 17 yards for a FG? The goalposts are 10 yards back in the end zone plus a 7 yard snap to the kicker. 56 yards would have been an ask Still think we should have run the ball through the downs - we may have got 8/9 yards further forward and made it easier.
  8. Lamar Jackson is ridiculous! How can you defend against that
  9. I'm surprised someone who has been an MP for over 20 years earning what they do and claiming their excessive expenses had to sell a business and remortgage his home to pay a £130k legal bill. What the **** has he been spending it on?!
  10. Love to see the Browns end with a winning record, however, I think the Ravens will be too strong.
  11. Opposite for me - feels like everything is back to normal now. I guess its because I worked the 24th, 27th and 28th and i'm working tomorrow as well. Definitely got the 'Sunday feeling' today.

    Liverpool

What a clown They've spent over £330m in 18 months
  13. Reading a bit about the case, I think she was drunk. Then she tried to blackmail Calder by demanding £5k or she'd go to the Police. It was actually Calder who called them - obviously not aware his attack was on camera! Hardly a Mensa meeting in the car park Shocking attack though. Disgusting.
  14. As soon as people start to take Spurs seriously they falter. Always the same.

    Arsenal

No spine to the team. Haven't had one for years.
  16. I am comfortable with the fact I don't want children now. 10 years ago I was a "maybe", bit now, absolutely not. They do not figure in my plan to retire early and live a peaceful life!
  17. Just barge them out the way. That's what I do (as long as they aren't bigger than me!)
  18. What's coming out? I'm not up to speed on new releases.
