Genuinely had the worst week illness wise of my life This cold/flu I thought I had... the cough is getting worse. Coughed myself sick a few times today! Going to have an early night (if I can get to sleep without coughing!) and see how I am tomorrow. The symptoms read like pneumonia but i'm sure its not that bad. My back is genuinely sore from all the coughing.

I respect your view and everything but (IMO) there is nothing really 'English' about Liverpool, Man City or Man Utd anymore apart from the fact they happen to be based here. Owned overseas, overseas manager and 95% of the players are foreign and have no real connection to the club or area. They're not representing England in my eyes. Perhaps back in the days of Beckham, Scholes, Neville, Gerrard, Owen, Fowler etc I may have rooted for them more as it was good to see home grown players play against the best in the world. It's not like that anymore.

I've got a fair bit tied up in UK equities and it has been up and down over the last 12 months but the quarterly dividends keep me ticking over and I'm in it for the long run. Wish i'd sold some particular shares in Jan as those ones are about £9k down at present in my portfolio! Oh well! Its a cyclical game.

Playing outfield and pinging the ball, you don't run 20 yards and kick it as hard as possible do you? Perhaps if you adopted the same body position and one or two steps you may be able to replicate it? (I may be talking jizz as normal)

My Dad's first job was working at a joiners who had the city council contract to fit new doors and put the fences on the new council homes in Kingstanding. Would have been around 69-74 at a guess before he joined WMP.

The North American TMNT figures were slightly smaller than the UK ones. I know as I had both!

Only give one present every year - to my folks. Unless its something they specifically want (a Macbook or iPad or something like that) then its a few hundred notes in a card. Job done.

There is a little bridge on the way to Ventura Park from Sutton where if you go over at speed, your stomach goes in your mouth like a rollercoaster. I love it!

Haven't sent any in about 10 years (apart from to my parents). Not even cheap ones to work colleagues. I generally receive 1 per year - from my parents.
