  1. That’s where you went wrong! They were quiet as a mouse yesterday compared to many visiting supporters so I’m not sure they can say anything.
  2. Still don’t understand why some are ready to give up 4th so easy. Spurs have the slightly easier run in but it’s 50/50 and both of us can win or lose any game left as we are both good and bad enough on any given day.
  3. Next weekend Man Utd 20 - 0 Liverpool Bruno F (All penalties) Match Stats Man U - Liverpool Possession 5% - 95% Shots 0 - 72 Corners 2 - 33 Disallowed goals 0 - Man Utd and 17 for Liverpool Ref: Alex Ferguson Extra time end of second half - 57 minutes
  4. Yeah I don’t agree with this, I guessing it’s just the positioning of the mics. More than just the Upper Holte singing.
  5. I thought he wanted to go back to Italy, all the rumours in the last few months was he was leaving it up to his agent and Gala to sort out him going back to Italy in the summer. He also wasn’t happy at his lack of minutes here although he loves Emery but the rumours were flying that he wants back to Italy in the summer…so I’m not convinced he wants the permanent move to us or be reloaned as some here are suggesting.
  6. I did like the new pre match video with the black tunnel and illuminated lights but I would like them to tone down the music just before the game starts as I think it overpowers the crowd chants and then the game kicks off and it sounds quiet because the music just stops, they should give a minute or so so the chants can get going again.
  7. I don’t hear much difference between last season and this season, I actually think we’ve been better his season. We’ve had a few times we’ve been flat but no more than usual but on the whole I don’t hear a difference between the two seasons and yesterday I thought was quite good and it was nice to have the constant chanting of one song a couple of times. I do get a little frustrated when a chant only does a couple of rounds, love it when it goes on and on like the SH chant yesterday and Dougie orchestrating for a bit…
  8. Never seen Wolves as a rival even though growing up I had a few Wolves friends. It was always Villa/Blose and Wolves/WBA. Yes Blose are shocking and never often in the same division as us and we should have more rivalry with the other two but always felt a bit forced like having Forest or Leicester as our derby as well because they are midlands team. To me, it’s just Blose. I love singing about them, it’s just so easy.
  9. Or the ‘H150U’ that it actually looks like
  10. I’d hate to go into the city centre and I’m not sure it solves the parking issues because the choice would just be incredibly expensive city car parks. I don’t want to be in the city centre late at night with elderly and young family members and use a bus or train for safety reasons.
  11. This page has made me feel young again, all this above was before my time
  12. With respect, opposition fans frequently speak to Villa Park being a favourite. and opposition players…
  13. Is that a thing where a team doesn’t get injuries during a game? Not seen that before, do the team know. How unlucky have we been this season with key injuries at key points of the season.
  14. Because in some inventive way the Saudi owners will put some of the Saudi companies under the Newcastle company thus massive profits and be able to buy whoever they wanted. They only need to put one cash cow company under Newcastle’s corporate structure and then they will have got around all the PSR.
  15. That’s how the Villa becomes too expensive, by letting the Mrs go shopping while your at the game
  16. I agree and even though I will watch every game, the football bores the hell out of me and I don’t expect much each game. I didn’t even get excited when Bellingham scored the last second to get a draw, I just watched the restart and then turned off the tv when the ref blew the final whistle. Delighted Ollie helped get the draw in aiding the goal but knew he wouldn’t get the credit he deserved for it.

    U.S. Politics

It’s weird the spin, i still don’t believe the polls just as I didn’t last month. Long way to go, still a lot to happen but polling doesn’t seem reflective of actual voting. It is though funny how the spin is happening and how Biden is flipping the spin in swing states but now apparently it doesn’t mean anything at this stage.
  18. I wonder how it’ll affect him if he doesn’t get picked. Obviously the rest over the summer should be beneficial for us next season but mentally how will Ollie feel after such a great season. Will it knock him back, knock his confidence or will he be determined to do even better. I’m hoping the latter! Just hope Southgate is not in his ear saying he needs to be at a bigger club to get more game time for England.
  19. To be fair to that argument, if we had Toney, would we swap him for Watkins, the answer from most would be ‘No’. The fact is there is not much choice between them they just have different strengths. Ollie deserves the spot after the season he’s had whereas Toney has been out because of his own fault. Unfortunately life doesn’t work that way and now it’s down to one man that has the tactical ability equivalent of Gerrard.

I wonder what would be the thing that Trump could do that would turn a large portion of the MAGA fan base off….I’m not sure much Change back to be a Democrat - probably would turn them off Move countries - probably but… Change faith - would turn them off Agree deals with Putin - wouldn’t change MAGA base Use nuclear weapons - unknown but some would probably justify it ….
  21. We’ve said the same every decade since I can remember.
  22. Manchester isn’t the second city….now or previously! I lived in Australia for a long time and Birmingham was known there for example.
  23. That will never happen, the London bias will never let it happen. It’s happened for decades, the new Wembley was a classic example that even though the public poll wanted the new stadium in the middle of the country, the powers that be decided London.
