  1. Disgusting behaviour, bunch of rocket polishers.
  2. Finally got tickets sorted, with 3 different people on my booking account to make I got a ticket. Absolutely ridiculous
  3. It's ridiculous, I've been to 11 home games so far this season yet I still can't even get into the website. Where were all these people in the middle of January when we were in a horrible run of form with barely 30k turning up.
  4. This is an absolute shambles, just got to near the end of the queue and there is an 'unexpected error and I have to start from the back of the queue again. **** off.
  5. This is just ridiculous, we sell on average around 30k tickets each home game yet within 5 minutes of tickets going on sale to those with booking history there are literally none left. Absolute **** joke.
  6. I'm guessing Lescott and Richards were on 50k a week each, then the likes of Veretout, Gueye, Ayew, Gestede and Sinclair were all on 30-45k a week. Not to forget Adama, who was also on a very high wage if I remember rightly. But it's still amazing that we could get rid of 5 of our highest earning players (Bent, Given, Benteke, Delph, Vlaar) in one summer, only to see our wage bill shoot up by £10 million in the following season. Just shows how badly we were run under Lerner/Fox.
  7. Since the accounts were released on the Companies House website yesterday, here's a more detailed breakdown of the accounts. 2016 2015 Total Revenue (excluding player sales)- £108.816M £115.692M Profit on player sales- £34.764M £375K Player Amortisation- £16M £19.6M Total Wages- £93M £83.7M Worth noting that we never made a profit under Lerner. Infact, we made total losses of £332M. Staggering. Breakdown of wages for all the teams to have released their 15-16 accounts: 1- Man U- £232M 2- Chelsea- £222M 3-Liverpool- £208M 4-Man City- £198M 5- Arsenal- £195M 6- Villa- £93M 7- Everton- £84M 8- West Ham- £83M 9- Stoke- £82M 10- WBA- £74M 11- Norwich- £67M
  8. BT have agreed an exclusive deal for the CL and EL from 2018-2021, paying £400 million per season (an increase of £100 million compared to what they pay now). It also means that there won't be any highlights on terrestrial tv either. Considering BT regularly only get around 200,000 viewers for their CL coverage that is **** madness.

  10. On the page showing the cost of specific blocks for season tickets within the ground, the line of disabled seating in the Trinity is carried round into the North Stand so I would presume it is being done this summer.

    Quiz!

Kozak away against Norwich in September 2013. Weekend before we lost against Newcastle at home and the week after the Norwich game we beat City 3-2 at home. What a great start to a shit season.
  12. Liverpool in the Cup SF. That was just brilliant. Everything that has followed has been pure shit.
  13. Bruce Forysth The Queen Prince Phillip Sepp Blatter Doug Ellis
  14. Happy New Year fellow VTers. Enjoyed quite a few beers today, will regret it with the inevitable hangover in the morning.
  15. He was often left dealing with Leeds right-hand side attacks on his own, with no central midfielder coming over to help him and Ayew wandering around up front doing **** all.
  16. Thought he was absolutely dreadful today, incredibly lazy. But as others have said, it's typical Ayew.
  17. Disgraceful few months for English cricket. We became the first major test nation to lose a test match against Bangladesh and then offered little to no fight against India. Squad selection was amazingly poor. What on earth was Ballance doing there, let alone an ancient Gareth Batty? Cook surely has to resign as captain, he's overseen eight defeats in 2016. That just simply isn't good enough and Bayliss' future as coach should be called into question too. His record in tests since he became coach is questionable at least, whilst Eng's ODI revolution started when Fabrace got put in temporary charge. The two positives from this tour are the emergence of Hameed and Jennings, who should feel the #2 and #3 batting slots for the foreseeable future.
  18. According to Sky Sports News he's been sacked. All of his backroom staff have had their contracts terminated too.
