    The Mirror is linking us with Rickie Lambert from Southampton... Lazy link cos of the name? A 30 year old with predominantly Championship experience? Doesn't really strike me as the right type of signing for Villa. EDIT: Just saw that this already had its own thread. Apologies

    I think its fair to say that this is the reason that Ireland did not play today. I mean wtf :shock: Also KEA was our best player. Looked composed on the ball (compared to our other players). Vlaar, Baker and Herd also were the best of the rest. I hope Randy pulls out the chequebook. But I also hope Lambert knows what is needed.

    I've seen it argued that at Wigan, everything ran through CNZ. He was the fulcrum of the attack and was the centre of attention. He flourished in that role. At Villa, he is one piece of a larger puzzle. For whatever reason, he's regressed as a player since coming here. I still think there's a good player in there somewhere. I'd give him till Jan to prove himself. I don't think his valuation can drop any more than it has since he's signed for us, but it can rise if he puts in the performances everyone is hoping from him.

    I'm embarrassed to say I never finished Final Fantasy VII. Got up to the Sephiroth battle at the end when he has his different forms (that is the end isn't it?). Never beat him. :oops: I believe it was around that time that we were moving and I lost the Playstation memory card Will have to revisit it one day...

    I think I'm about 20 hours in and loving it. Mainly been doing side quests. So recently resumed what I assume is the main storyline and have just learned the first couple of Shouts. I think I've got a bit to go

    Just a heads up. The link to the gameplay trailer goes to a fan-made trailer. Albeit, its a very good fan-made trailer. It says so in the video description. Looks interesting. I'm liking the humour.

    A funny comment that I read was that it is actually Makoun. Lambert's finally found him. But nobody's seen him for ages so they've forgotten what he looks like.

When I see the page count has jumped by 5 or so pages since last night, I'm intrigued - then disappointed to find out its more debate about past seasons and 'He Who Must Not Be Named.' I want more Twitter bollocks!
