  1. The man is a real maverick talent. He must drive Bruce nuts though, Kodjia plays however he likes and doesnt seem to pay much attention to what the staff are shouting at him. I cant wait to have him back.
  2. Good day that. I remember moaning about us loaning Robbie Keane thinking he was past it at the time. How utterly wrong I was.
  3. I actually have zero problem with Wolves. Should be a fun game. We need these points though thats for sure. If the swirl around them possibly being dodgy distracts them a little bit then thats fine by me. They are undeniably a good side.
  4. So nothing then. "Hey you are breaking the rules, as your punishment we are going to tell you the rules again then you can get back to us in a few months at which point you will be promoted already and we can all forget about this."
  5. Each time I have seen them they have settled because the opposition let them play, then gone ahead, then dropped the wing backs deep . Then they just counter at will. It is absolutely vital this weekend we get at them from the start and give them no time. They are a tough team to play against at the best of times, but playing them when they are a goal up makes it much harder.
  6. As a Leeds supporting friend of mine said "dont worry mate, Leeds will always let you down." How right he was.
  7. Saw praise from Sunderland fans about AVTV as well. Apparently much better than iFollow. Good job the club.
  8. They had the two worst keepers in the league in January. So they brought in Lee Camp. Now they have the three worst keepers in the league. It is actually incredible how poor a job they have done recruitment wise. Tough game though, I do hope Oviedo doesnt get the chance for another worldy corner. Close him down lads.
  9. Aye, nice little earner there. Take a few years off running down your contract or getting sacked and compo. Either way he is British with "Premier League experience" so he will walk into another Championship job anytime he likes. Nice work if you can get it. Gaz.
  10. I reckon they can still stay up, they are not that bad a side. Whether firing Cotterill makes that more or less likely I have no idea. I am not sure Monk is the kind of manager they need though.
  11. Shockingly bad. I will doff my cap to Shane Long there though, that was a nice take.
  12. Another weird player saga. We do seem to ave em.
  13. So, what do we think to Bruce changing it up to 4-4-2? Sign he is going for the automatics?
  14. I will say given the mental strength and determination of the likes of Snodgrass, Terry, Chester, Elmo etc I would bet on us in a playoff final over any other team in contention.
  15. Also worth remembering that performance came a few days after he was chucking his guts up on the pitch because he was ill. Love him.
  16. Looking up not down. I like it. And I agree, why not try to win this thing? Thats what Adomah says the team is aiming for.
  17. Damn straight. Bloody hell 1:07 in the above video. Not bad, not bad at all!
  18. I wouldn't over look Tony's post playing involvement with Villa either, he has always been one of us. I still get a nice smile thinking of the time he was commentating one of our games and he just laid into N'Zogbia about how little effort he had put into his Villa career. He was genuinely angry about it and said what many of us were thinking.
  19. What a relief. I just assumed when this topic was bumped that someone else had suffered serious injury in training. While they are doing work there they should also throw in a full blown exorcism
  20. Its not just Grealish though. Lose Grealish AND Adomah AND then put Snodgrass on the opposite wing and you have just about removed our chance creators. Again I am not really very concerned just yet. We had a blip , it happens. We can also go on another 7 game winning streak, that can happen as well. I am looking forward to the next game. I reckon Bruce might even change our shape a bit to get the best out of our available players.
  21. I wouldnt be around so no. Honestly. I really despise Warnock , I would just take some time away from Football I dislike him that much. I couldnt bear to see Aston Villa play for him. If we got promoted next year under him and I read about it then sure, I might crack a smile, but I wouldn't be around until after he had gone so I couldnt really enjoy it. I don't deny he is a good manager btw. Just he is where I draw my ethical line. I respect the fact others feel differently and thats fine.
  22. I remain consistent in my fickleness. When he wins multiple games in a row and takes us second he is a modern footballing genius. When we lose he is a dinosaur who needs to go immediately. When we draw, I just randomly go back and forth all week until the next game.
  23. I despise Warnock and the way he has sent his players out to injure the opposition in the past. If he rocked up at Villa I would just fade away until he was sacked. Which maybe a bonus to my fellow fans
