No complaints from me. A few mistakes from various players but its been good overall. Glad Bruce rotated the team a bit.

Agree. Bruce has assembled a team that is specifically designed to get us promoted this season. Some of them are already in sharp decline at the end of this season. If we do not go up then I imagine there will be a very large clear out. I think Snodgrass will be a part of that. While that would be a shame, he just LOVES playing for us and I love him right back, I would understand the logic of letting him return and not bidding on him.

Right so the conclusion of the thread is Bruce should be judged on results, but his results are also meaningless or misleading. Bizarre.

He has the highest win rate of any Aston Villa manager since the 1930's. Sure, I see his flaws, but that stat even given it has been in the Championship is a pretty big one.

I did rather enjoy that. England are a threat and fun to watch. Its a shame Russia's twattishness will probably ruin this world cup because we have a decent team here and Southgate is doing the best he knows how. I still reckon we are going to lose badly against the first good team we come up against but we should have some good games against the rest.

I saw the replay and saw his foot was trodden on. That is a penalty. Ref was calm and made the right call after he saw the replay. Good job. Its a friendly, the players need to get used to this.

QPR were just better than us. Bruce probably should have rotated the team more. But there you go, I would have given him pelters of he did and we lost so I get it. 9 games left. Plenty to play for.
