    When you run a bath and decide it's a bit too hot as it's singed your scrotum a bit, then put too much cold water in and can't get it back above lukewarm no matter how much hot water you put in. Ruins the whole thing.

    They say you shouldnt look at your phone or tablet for an hour before you want to go to sleep because of the blue light or whatever it's called. I take nightly tablets to help prevent my migraines and they knock me out good and proper for 8 hours. I've never slept better than in the past year or so since I've been taking them.

    We used to go to Pizza Express all the time, but what ruined it is being able to buy their pizzas in the supermarket. They dont taste anything special when you cook them at home which put me off them really, though I suspect they are a lot better freshly done in the restaurant. In general I'm not really one for Italian restaurants, though there is one near us that mixes it up by making pasta dishes with game and other slightly different twists.

    Firstly Arsenal clearly aren't a shit team and all three City goals came from intricate passing moves really, so there clearly is purpose behind keeping possession.

    Axel was equally important for me. Smith seems to like the modern approach where we attack as an XI with passing and movement from the back forward, and defend as an XI by closing down from the forwards back. Hopefully Mings gives us extra ball-player at the back and may allow Tuanzebe to step into defensive midfield, or perhaps Mings can go to left back and solve that problem. Carroll may be seen as filling the DM role but we will have to wait and see. I can see what Smith wants but without the right players available to him I can't see much alternative than going for Bruceball at the moment.

    Problem is you can't really get free transfers in January. Hopefully Suso will be scouring for quality bargains to replace the great exodus of players in the summer.

    Problem is once you tread on someone's head once, you get a reputation as a head-treader and it goes against you when you accidentally tread on someone else's head. A promising debut though it'll be interesting to see how we set up when everyone is fit and available.

    He leaves out Hutton and plays Elmo instead he gets just as much stick. We want to send Bolasie back to Everton and give him stick for playing Adomah. I really, really cant wait til Jack is back and hopefully we can produce something closer to what we played early on under Smith.

    I definitely agree with the last sentence. I dont think Bruce 'crossed any lines' at all and hate how precious fans can be. Anyway, he's gone, let's just be glad of that.

    The French make the best pizzas, pretty much like with any other food. It's down to the flavour of the tomato sauce for me, I'm not so keen on the Americanised version of pizza but when you're/have been on the piss it goes down quite nicely.

    I seem to recall he got a bit of a backlash for being overhyped just because he played for Spurs, with talks of England call ups etc. The reality is he's a tidy footballer and I hope he slots into Smith's system smoothly.

    I think the squad is more balanced now, and what we really should have started the season with. At the end of the day our chances rest mainly on Grealish being in the team. Personally I hope Mings settles in at left back rather than centre back and more importantly stays fit.

    Obviously Smith prefers playing on the front foot so would prioritise ability on the ball, but if Carroll is disciplined and mobile enough he can do a decent job as DM. It's possible that Mings could play centre half with Chester and Axel could move to DM.

    I think that's a bit harsh, Carroll and Mings both have the option to buy and are in their mid 20s, plus we've signed that right back for the future too.

    I always thought he sat deep and was a decent passer, which is exactly what we need for the style Smith likes. I fully expect him to get pelters for passing sideways or whatever but he should help us tick over, plus must surely be more mobile than Whelan and co.
