  1. I think the position he plays in is a fundamental reason for his performances last season and indeed the mentality of the manager then. This season Lambert has set us up as an attacking side and now that N'Zogbia is getting a run in the side we are seeing a vast improvement. I just hope he's not injured as he looked in some pain when he was substitued!
  2. I thought Dawkins looked a good, neat player...obviously it's difficult to judge at the moment but let's hope he does well for us!
  3. I thought he got stuck in quite well but alas it is hard to get into a game at that stage and especially considering how Everton were mounting the pressure. It is even more difficult as new player having had no experience of the league to try and make an impact. Give him a week to learn his role and that of those around him and we'll see how he fares against Wet Spam (if indeed he plays)...I guess he'll be alongside Westwood then?
  4. Lambert's out of his depth and it's obvious now. The players are not motivated and don't know their roles, and the manager seems like he has no passion so is there any wonder the players perform like this. We're down and will become another Sheffield Wednesday.
  5. We need a new owner...oh and a new manager...and some new players! I'm increasingly more and more embarrassed to be a Villa fan, it's very sad!
  6. Stevens is a pub player from a part-time league, what should we expect from him?!
  7. We need Vlaar on the pitch and dare I say it Dunne too...then we'll pick up and be safe!
  8. It's so embarrasing to be outplayed by Bradford and now Southampton!
  9. Which I why I used the term "one of", yes there are many but when it was given to HK it was the largest seated bronze buddha in the world. Still worth a visit in my opinion, if not for the Buddha but the cable car ride and the views.
  10. I've been to HK and loved it. High Tea at The Peninsula is a must. Symphony of Lights at 7pm, Kowloon (near the Clock Tower) The Peak overlooking Victoria Harbour, use the funicular railway. Lamma Island for the Seafood, you can walk from one side of the island to the other in 90 minutes. Lantau Island has one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Check out Trip Advisor for nice restaurants, there are so many to name! Nan Lian Garden, Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, Ocean Park, Cheung Chau Island...oh and make sure you use the Star Ferry!
  11. One of the many reviews I have read stated this was a very intuitive and original aspect to gaming, thus championing it. However if the individual chooses they can change the setting so they play solely on the Game Pad rather than both TV and Pad.
  12. 40k units sold on first day has the Wii U effectively selling out everywhere.
  13. I think and hope you are correct.
  14. You are correct. Overheating the water reduces its oxygen content and causes the tea to taste flat.
  15. And yet there are plenty of people buying them all over the world because it is a Nintendo. Yes there are some average reviews but there are also some encouraging ones. I think ultimately it is a subjective decision; I can remember owning an NES 8 bit IN 1987 and then always being a fan...
  16. I hope this is indeed true and that we all can return to some rationality.
  17. The Man With The Iron Fists, eh?!
  18. It's living in the past as far as I am concerned; Lambert I imagine would feel the same way.
  19. Robbie Keane? What a joke there is no way, please move on people.
  20. Based on this solitary performance I'd be inclined to agree with you.
  21. I've been noticing that when I watch Villa the opposition do seem to have much better fortune when attacking our LB (whoever it may be) Bennett or Lichaj. Maybe this change with Stevens coming in will be an improvement, however based on our upcoming fixtures I won't be too confident.
  22. Growing up Roger Moore was Bond so he is the man as far as I am concerned. However, it is a pity that Dalton never got to make a few more movies as I think some have said he was quite similar to the Bond Fleming had created; 'License To Kill' is a good example. Best films are OHMSS, The Spy Who Loved Me and 'Casino Royale' (reboot). Best Villains are Donald Pleasance, Christopher Lee and Christopher Walken. I do hope Javier Bardem is good though... Best Bond girls: Barbara Bach, Jane Seymour and Famke Janssen. The Blaxploitation in 'Live and Let Die' was all rather cool in my opinion.
  23. I don't know, their sources are closer to the game than any of us here.
  24. I thought we looked ok today but alas it wasn't to be. Waiting for inexperienced players in key positions to get their experience is a dangerous philosophy and one that might mean we are bottom six for the rest of this season. The Norwich game is a season deciding one now...
  25. This...a lot of talk (from those pundit types) that he'll be off soon. No smoke without fire...
