  1. His age is irrelevant. If he's able to run the worlds most corrupt sporting organisation he's able to take the shite that comes with it. The sight of him shitting himself when the banknotes went flying was glorious.

    Happy Birthday Rodders.
  3. I would imagine JP Morgan have a few private jets flying around - not sure why this is so news worthy given that IIRC it was BOA Merril Lynch who are/were handling the sale of the club.
  4. Why would you snitch? No one likes a grass. That said, if he has genuine rubbed you up the wrong way in a serious way, i.e. you have some sort of vendetta against him, then I guess it could be quite satisfying. But then, I tend to think life's too short for that sort of shit. You'd probably get him sacked, does he have a family to support? Perhaps he has a big mortgage to pay off? Is it worth potentially ruining his life over a cricket match? You're right, even though he's possibly the most arrogant word removed I've ever met, it's not worth the aggro. I doubt he'd get sacked and he sponges off his missus anyway, but I'd just get a reputation I don't want. Why would you snitch? Just highlight the relevant article and post it to his boss with a letter written out of cut out newspaper headlines. It'll get read.
  5. Snowy has nailed the take someone in stuff perfectly. So..... things to say/do. 1) Don't blame anyone else 2) Don't say "That one was tame - you should see what else I've said about the company on the internet" 3) Don't claim an agenda or victimisation you just look like a nutter. 4) Apologise. 5) Play up the stressful stuff. You were very busy. You were venting frustration. Out of work pressures (make some up if there are none) had an impact and clouded your judgement. 6) Highlight previous good character - quotes from appraisals or performance reviews will assist you here. 7) Plan what you're going to say and your "defence" in advance. Write it down. Don't walk in and wing it. 8) Wear a suit - look smart.
  6. I took Princess E 1.0. We both thought it was great.
  7. A big week with just 1 signing? But a really big one. A new owner? No no sorry. A New Sign In. You know - a really big one. Like: ASTON VILLA
  8. A big week with just 1 signing? But a really big one.
  9. Oh I don't know. The Mods are known to monitor the threads quite closely. I don't skink we'll gecko away with many.
  10. very. ok how about "its not a huge week for the club" ? ie nothing will happen this week? So you're saying we're definitely signing a player before Saturday? There's only 2 and a half weeks left. I think it's a huge week. I think we'll make a signing and I think we'll have some surprising news that none of us have speculated on. The Villa Park Pitch is actually a GoldenEye style satellite dish? Tim Sherwood is the King of David Ike's Lizard People?
  11. He was getting murdered by Kelly Cates and Colin rocket polisher on 5Live last night. They love to give the Villa a kicking. Colin has us nailed on for relegation - well I suppose he'd know a thing or two about that.
  12. From sky's transfer centre His star has waned a little in the last 2 years. Surplus to requirements at Roma and didn’t set the world alight during his loan spell at Milan this season. Obviously they have not taken up the option to sign him permanently. Roma are looking to get rid. Would be a bit of a gamble. So about the perfect level for us then?
  13. In a utopian world where everyone repays yes they could be. Trouble is anyone who is financially stable whacks it on a credit card and clears it the next month, paying no interest - especially the low amounts typically lent by pay day companies. Trouble is if you're looking at pay day lending you're either not desirable from a credit point of view or desperate - especially with hugely punitive rates of interest and late payment charges, they are marketed as easy, consequence free and helpful. Here is £500 for 30 days, it will solve your short term cash flow problems. Whats that? It puts you in the same boat next month when you run out of ££ faster? Have another £500 - plus £50 to cover the fees from last time. With no checks as to whether you can actually afford it, or if they'll see it again.
  14. Pay day loan companies arguing they should again be legally allowed to exploit desperate people because loan sharks will do it illegally if they can't.
  15. Are you Martin O'Niell? Now now we'll have no contretemps here What you gonna do? Set your rabid beardy Irish sidekick on us?
  16. That looks great. I'll be backing that.
  17. I'd be more suspicious of foreign players joining us saying how pleased they are to be at Villa and that its the highlight of their careers. I want them to want to be better than us. I want them to work their nuts off to get there and drag us up in the process. Ambition is great. Now they have to back it up with performances.
  18. Gone back to Spain apparently Swansea paid £2m for him. Amazing value.
  19. Or boo and hiss the **** into oblivion, showering his every touch with monopoly money.
  20. The "English Premium" is the FAs fault with this ridiculous home grown rule. All it achieves is the stupid over inflation of transfer fees and the marginalisation of English talent on the subs benches of "big" clubs. The FA took the easy way out to protecting "the next generation" instead of actually dumping money into coaches and facilities where the English youth could benefit from some proper development. Young players don't develop technical skills watching better older players do it in matches. The learn it from playing and regular high quality grass roots coaching. **** the FA. **** this stupid transfer market and **** SKY for providing the money.
  21. The update of Tapatalk is lovely. Grrrrr.
