I'm afraid I like all three of those, Rugeley !

each to their own, I do like paranoid but its way overplayed, I hate the fact that Sabbath continue to close the show with it because its not even in their top ten songs, what I don't like about all my love is the chorus, its kind of like a waving your arms in the hair kind of feel and that really aint zep, I like page's work on the song though, I think plant wrote it has a tribute to his son who died, so respect to him for that, if im right your a big who fan, must say their aint a song they done as the original band I hate,

I am indeed a big Who fan. Some tracks are - shall we say 'less than essential' - but I don't think there are any I actually HATE.

Some of the Entwistle songs come close, though - 'Boris the Spider', anyone?

Beatles - Yellow Submarine

Springsteen  - Born in the USA

Chuck Berry - My Ding a Ling

Bob Dylan - Sara

I agree with the first and third.

No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom (song, not the album. The album was amazing)

Elvis- In the Ghetto

Tom Petty- You Got Lucky

The Cars- I'm not the one

I'm sure there's more, that's what comes to mind at the moment.

Yellow Submarine? Why so?

Bicks need not reply...

because it had some input from Donovan ... Bloody Donovan

Must admit I don't like it much either ..it's no Octopus's Garden

Honestly, it just sort of irritates me instead of entertaining me. I feel the same about most techno. (I might just be weird, but I don't enjoy it)

Without the track would there have been the film thingy? (genuine question as no idea).

The track was written in 66 and the film was made in 68

But no idea if the idea for the film came about as a result of the track

The Beach Boys - Passing Friend

From their first studio album following the loss of Dennis Wilson, the band thought it would be a good idea to employ Steve Levine and his Drum Machine as producer.

It wasn't.

Passing Friend was written by George O'Dowd and Roy Hay, which should tell you exactly how unbelievably shit it is.
