The guy who used to live at my house (over a year ago) had lost his cat. Again. 4th **** time in two months it's turned up in my house, it's been under the sofa for a couple of hours. Have to agree, utterly banal events or statements by individuals get turned into much bigger events, where everyone has to vent their faux 'outrage' and cause harm to the 'perpetrator' (i.e. make him/her unemployed).
