Stevo985 Posted November 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 8, 2012 Scotland job available but maybe not deemed good enough for that so he stays with us.
Jarpie
Eh, you people really think he would leave Villa just couple months after taking the job? I just can't see that happening.
Stevo985 Posted November 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 8, 2012 no, no-one thinks that. Just one wind up merchant thinks that.
romavillan Posted November 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 8, 2012 well actually that PL wasn't good enough so that would be the only reason he'd stay. obviously.
Stevo985 Posted November 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 8, 2012 Just like Alex Ferguson and David Moyes aren't good enough either, which is obviously the only reason they didn't take the Scotland job
romavillan Posted November 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 8, 2012 true they must be after someone much better than PL, ferguson and moyes.... can only be redknapp right?

Morpheus
no, no-one thinks that. Just one wind up merchant thinks that. Again not on the wind up at all. Just wondering if he had still been at Norwich would there have been enquiries about him taking the scottish job? What i mean is, since he was doing so well there as apposed to with us. Thats the point i was making albeit maybe in a too direct manner for some on here.

Thats the point i was making albeit maybe in a too direct manner for some on here. We had to live with this for 3 years! In general, unless things have changed, Lambert doesn't rate Scottish football that highly and often said he had no desire to manage up there again...even at a National level. I'd relax if I were you, now, had it been a Liverpool................
coda
Ferguson has already managed Scotchland. The manager there gets approx. £500k/year. Ridiculous to even suggest Lambert.

AVFCforever1991
Can't see him going to liverpool if the job arises. They have fallen so far from what they were under Benitez.

No AVFC, I said A Liverpool, ie. it would take a bigger club than yourselves for him to jump ship now.
Morpheus
That's still nonsense. Maybe in your opinion but it could have been a possibility. Can actually see Redknapp being approached. Think he stated somewhere that he would be interested in managing a national team. Not so sure he would take it though even though Scotland have some decent players now. AvfcRigo82
I can't see him going anywhere anytime soon. He is only in the door after all at the biggest club in his managerial career and one he won't be giving up on any time soon either. .
